Golden eyes widen behind dark-tinted shades. He had been the one to bump into her—and yet she's asking if he is alright.

He's never met anyone quite so kind.

It makes his heart flutter.

Pierrot nods, answering her question. Yes, he's okay. His right hand lifts to point its finger her way, silently reflecting the question. Is she okay?

A high pitched cackle. "Nice?? Oh, darling. You haven't seen my hospitality, yet! You think this is bad? Wait till you seen the fanally of my greatest work!"

A grotesque combination of bodies? Probably. He's already enjoying his throne of limbs.

Harlequin isn't expecting anything for his birthday.

Jester will probably give him something, since he's the troupe leader, but the others? Especially Pierrot? Nah. Maybe Jester will tell them to do it out of the sheer fact that Harlequin is a member of the circus, but he 'knows' they don't really care about him all that much.

So color him surprised when the woman Pierrot had met at the store approaches...and offers a plate of cupcakes.

For him. No one else.

He doesn't like sweets most of the time. They aren't the kind of food he gravitates towards. However...the fact that someone had decided to give him something at all, but especially on his birthday, has him feeling far more happy and emotional than he expected to.

So, Harlequin reaches out to accept the plate with a soft 'thank you'.

She overheard it's someone's birthday, so she's bringing some homemade cupcakes! She did have to bake these with help, but hopefully they turned out well ♥️

Help or no help, they look wonderful! And he's excited to try them out! More importantly, though, he's grateful that she's giving them to him on his birthday.

“Oh, I love this book!” The being said happily, looking through all the novels she had just put away. They turned their attention from the worn cover to the young girl as she approached them, and their tail shot up to smile at her with a sweet chiming noise.

“Where are my manners?” The creature exclaimed, then tucked an arm under their fluffy chest to bow like a knight would to a queen. “I am the magical and mystical Jestrix! It is an honor to meet you! I’ve been waiting for some time!”

They straightened back up, grinning like she had hung the sun, the moon and the stars all at once. “And you’re Yo-Yo, right?”

@misfxrtunekitty While Yolanda seemed a tad taken aback (if only for a brief moment) by Jacks' crude language, she still showed one of her timid smiles, just happy to be contributing. She reached into her purse to pull out her wallet, pausing for a moment before looking over to the other once more. “Um...! Maybe twenty?” She would get more, but she doesn't want the tickets to go to waste either. She was already pulling out her card, although she could also pay in cash if needed. “Would you tell me about your band? Or about this charity, perhaps?”

"Twenty? Well fuck me." He smirked, counting through the stack of tickets before handing her a handful of them. She didn't look like she would be into his kinda music but then again, he shouldn't be judging a book by its cover.

"Well, we're just a group of dudes who like making loud music. Punk Rock and Metal kinda stuff. I can link you some songs if you wanna listen it, shits for free on our website. As for the charity.." He reached back, rummaging once more until he found a flyer of a charity called Rainbow Lives. "We collectin' money for homeless lgbtq+ kids, to get them off the streets or out of their shitty homes."

“I don't believe I would be able to assist your concert, but I would be delighted to purchase tickets from you! Ah— i-if that is alright, of course.” As far as she knows, a lot of people would love to go to a concert free of charge. And if it is for charity, all the better ♥️

"You don't need to do shit, you just buy a ticket and the money goes to charity, that's that. Our music is just a bonus. And yeah, that would be more than alright." He smirked, reaching behind the counter to grab the box with the tickets.
