Some of you asked for an update from mexico

Where I am things have calmed down. Class was suspended in all educational levels and convinience stores are thankfully closed to protect the employees.

This morning president Claudia Sheinbaum on her daily conference informed all circulation in highways has been restored, a lot of people were detained yestarday for their involvement with the violence and she was wearing black in mourning for the armed forces officers that died on duty.

It's weirdly quiet and tense. Some of us still had to go to work but everyone walked the street looking over their shoulders. Even the debt collectors that have been calling me nonestop all week have gone quiet. I work at a goverment institution, and state security forces have arrived to stand guard at every door.
