For shits and giggles, I sometimes search my university's digital library for monster-related studies/scholarly papers/analyses.
And lookie what I found! Someone referenced Morning Glory Milking Farm by @monster-bait in a scholarly paper! (I hunted down an accessible version to share.)
I haven't read the paper myself, but thought it was worth it to share with the tumblr monster fucking community.

"A bittersweet happiness was still happiness, Silva reminded herself."
This is an extremely bittersweet day for me. I'm simultaneously thrilled that this series is complete, and heartbroken to be saying goodbye to these characters - thank you SO MUCH to those of you who've been here from book one 💜
Our paperback will be live later today, as soon as Amazon releases the file, and for audiobook readers - we are in production ✨
My coworker stumbled across Morning Glory and shared with me and another coworker and we decided to listen to it together. Now we all listen to your books (Audible) in sync at work so we are all at the same spot and are excitedly listening to Sweet Berries now!
Hi!! I’m wondering if you have any updates to give on Extensions? I’m a POTO addict and saved it to my book notes app ages ago but I can’t find any links anymore! Thanks!
The only thing I can tell you is that this project is NOT dead. Beyond that, I can't say much.
Also, I saw Hugh Panaro in Masquerade last week, so I'm fully back on my bullshit 😅
Hi! Are your books available for purchase outside of Amazon?
My books are available in paperback and audiobook wherever books are sold, and that includes the public library system.
My ebooks are available on Amazon.
The bells and whistles version of my paperbacks (foiled covers and solid sprayed edges) are available exclusively from my indie bookstore partners and my own storefront.
hi! just recently, my partner had discovered ypur stories through someone and youtube and brought th to my attention... i read morning glor and immediately fell in love with your writing and jabe been working on getting through the rest of what some people are calling the main 5 of your cramnric creek series.
your books got me out of a 4 yeat reading funk that going to college and doing english lit stuff had thrown me into where reading became a necessity rather that something to be causally enjoyed... which a LOT of people habe told me "just like fond something to read and do it" to get of it but my Neruodivergent brain went "NO" for some stpud reason... but oh well im reading again now!!
anyway, sorry for the long thing in the tour ask box...
i just finished Moon Blooded breeding clinic and love lowell and the remaining hemmings brothers to death! at the end of the book theres a small bit from Full moon frenzy (Trapps story) and i have been searching high and low for its release and preorder page but the link on the book on kindle jusy brings me to He Loves Me Not... i was wondering where the easy access page would be to find out about Gull Moon Frenzy?
Full Moon Frenzy will be released in 2026!
I had initially intended on it being my very first release of the year, but I've decided (like, literally 24 hours after telling a bunch of patrons that it was going to be my first book of the year 😅) that I'm going to release it over the summer so that we can reuse our #HotWerewolfSummer marketing campaign!
You'll be getting FMF, which is Trapp's book, and also a version of Run, Run Rabbit from Grayson's POV, so if you are a reader who really hates my Hemming Wolfpack, sorry about your luck 😌
Thank you for reading! It means a lot to hear that the Cambric Creek books are what pulled you out of a reading slump. I hope you've enjoyed the journey so far! 💖
Baffled that there are people who didn't know you've got a Tumblr!!! As someone who's been here since morning glory milking farm was on Tumblr.... You're doing the lord's work 🫰
Oh, I don't fault them too harshly. It's been years since I've been active here, and the community that existed when I was is likely very, very different today!
Hiya! I have loved your cambric creek stories for years. And stand by the fact that MGMF is the only novel that has blown up on tiktok that I have truly enjoyed. Whilst I own a digital copy of MGMF all of your other stories I access through KU because my library doesn't purchase them
I am beyond sick of Amazon's bs however and am looking to buy any stories I don't own but love and then cancelling my membership.
I know I can purchase physical copies of your books on Amazon but I was wondering if that was the best way to ensure you get the most profits? Or is there a better way to purchase physical copies of your books?
Also I am halfway through HLMN and am loving iiiiiit. I think it is my second favourite of the cambric Creek stories 💕💕💕💕💕
SO!
First of all, thank you SO MUCH for your support!
Physical copies of (most of) my books are available wherever books are sold. However, the only way to get the special editions (and the books not widely available) is through my storefront. We are currently closed for my spring signing events, but make sure you subscribe (which you can do from the link in my bio) to my newsletter for notification on when we reopen!
Ebooks: beginning this year, I will be offering direct ebooks on all new releases. Meaning you will be able to get books directly from me BEFORE they go to KU. Existing books - once we have the platform up and running, I'll be offering the back catalog direct one-at-a-time.
And if I may - I understand and appreciate the frustration with Amazon. Authors feel it as well. But, and I never enjoy defending billion dollar companies, but it must be said, most of your favorite indie authors would not have careers without Amazon. I have traditionally published friends who are New York Times Best Sellers who still make the majority of their income on Amazon. Most of us make more money on Amazon than we do on any other platform, for both ebooks and physical copies.
The absolute best way to support authors is to buy direct whenever you can. It cuts out the middleman of both Amazon AND IngramSpark (who could easily be the topic of a completely separate essay, because I can complain about IS for days.)
When you can't buy directly from the author, support indie bookshops, particularly indie bookshops who carry indie books.
Most importantly, buy books however you want in a way that makes you feel slightly less culpable and this capitalistic hellscape.
If you are reading HLMN, you probably already know how I feel about the loss of small businesses to large conglomerates. There is no conscientious consumerism under capitalism. We're all just doing the best we can with what we have, and if that means you read through KU, the library, or from Barnes and Noble, no author is going to scold you.
As long as you're not pirating, most of us are just happy to have you as a reader!
im a bit of a pointless hater about certain usages of the term “monsterfucker” bc i think it’s often one of those things people say but don’t believe with their whole chest. like if all the “monsters” you like are vampires and similar mopey human-looking folks it’s possible you are actually just into goths. Let’s not dilute the beautiful world of teratophilia for our bloodborne sex soldiers out there fucking and sucking in yharnam or whatever. Anyone on earth would fuck a vampire. that’s vanilla
Don't you DARE gatekeep monsterfucking OP, all fuckers of all monsters are valid. If one person mostly prefers the twink bodytype and another prefers the bear bodytype, they're both still attracted to men. Some people fuck monsters because of the taboo of finding something dangerous or other than "human" attractive and some people fuck monsters because they want to feel a tentacle force their butthole open like an anteater snout into a termite mound. All of us are nasty freaks and there's no need to create unneeded barriers between us.
if we’re considering essentially cannibalistic human people with bad teeth to be monsters we must include those who are attracted to British people under the banner of monsterfucking lest someone feel invalidated
The "attraction to vampires and other mostly-human monsters" end of the spectrum gets debated like this because it is both monsterfucking AND normie at the same time. It also has its equal and opposite twin in wanting to fuck a person so idealized they no longer resemble a human.
Hear me out. (Long post under the cut)
I think that at least some degree of interest/attraction to the monstrous is an extremely commonplace human condition. See how insanely popular monster movies and tales are. See how we keep mixing sex into our horror movies. I think the vast majority of people WOULD or already do find Dracula Castlevania or Pyramidhead or Beast Disneyfranchise hot. It's monsterfucking because it is an attraction to the monstrousness, it's also vanilla because most of us experience some degree of that.
What it clarifies for me is that it attraction to the mildly monstrous is the middle of the normie/spectrum, the far ends are not the total absence or total inhumanity, but two very different extremes of monstrousness: broad-spectrum hyperpersonalization and narrow-spectrum depersonalization.
We freaks on Tumblr are more familiar with the hyperpersonalization end of the spectrum: attraction to beings that in no way resemble humans in form or consciousness, but who are still find mentally *people*. Wanting union with sapient mycelial networks. Thinking The House from House of Leaves is kind of a milf. The monstrousness here is the horror of personhood in a formnot recognized as a person. You can see the appeal to all the ND and disabled people here. It's broad spectrum because not only has the definition of person been widely expanded, people on this far end are attracted to multiple very differently shaped monsters. This is important because it helps explain what's happening on the other end.
The far opposite end involves attraction to extremely specifically shaped beings that have been completely stripped of any personhood. Really putting the objectification in the Object of Affection. It begins with being into people with very specific features, like being into perisex cisgender Caucasian women with blue eyes and blonde hair under the age of 25 and ONLY them. Having a preference for certain features is normal, but it begins to loop back when the presence of these features eclipses the actual personality of the subject when it comes to attraction- both in the sense of "would not even consider looking a 26-year old" and "the specific entities they're looking at? They are not listening to" . As you continue down that end of the spectrum, not only does personhood become less important, the desired body becomes more and more specific until you have an entity of such outrageous proportions and inorganic perfection that it no longer resembles a human. The monstrousness is in the total absence of personhood, even in something that (sort of) looks like a conventional person.
This isn't a value judgement on either end. You can have whatever bizarre fantasies you want so long as you are kind to your fellow beings.
This is only one of the two snakes in this double oroborous of monsterfucking because of course the kink is shaped like that.
So far, we have only been discussing someone being attracted to a variably monstrous subject. The other snake is when the monster they want to be fucked is themselves. Again, the hyperpersonalization/depersonalization axis is in play: people who would want to BE the parasitic goo monster and have their personhood recognized in a grand romance, and people who wish to shed their personhood entirely and become a sexy, sexy table lamp.
These two orobori- attraction to the monstrousness of the other and monstrousness of the self- cycle through each other in many ways through many intersections, but the thing that both the hyperpersonalists and the depersonalists have in common is the creative exploration of the form that could be, whereas the normies have only begun to consider "huh. That guy is kinda fucked up, and that sorta makes him hot?"
Re: the middle of the spectrum: monsterfucking exists as extremes of what could be, and normcore is the absolute lack of creativity, but I think humanity in general sits in a bimodal distribution centered on the first deviations away from that very boring middle. Wanting to be or fuck a vampire is not the most vanilla, but it is very common.Likewise, wanting to be or fuck Barbie is also not totally vanilla, but more common than actual vanilla is.
TL; DR: wanting to fuck a vampire is both normie and monsterfucking, as is wanting to fuck Jessica Rabbit, to about the same degree in the other direction.
Actually I'd like to revise my opinion a bit because I'm hydrated now and my friend in chat pointed out that my "inhumanity of form" and "recognition of personhood" are just two of the MANY axes upon which the monsterfuckerness of anything can be judged, so I propose this:
Kink in general, but ESPECIALLY monsterfucking, is the exploration of what could be. Playing Imagination, if you will. Therefore, it's opposite is a total lack of imagination.
Since it's extremely weird for a human to be totally without creativity, what you get is a bimodal distribution on either side with a sharp dip in the middle, where the vast majority of people are into something A Little Weird, tapering out the Spiders Georgs out there who want to be actually jacked off by the invisible hand of the marketplace or suchlike esoteric and unachievable fantasies.
Hence, wanting to fuck a vampire is both monsterfucking and normie at the same time.

My theory is that you can analyze "Monsterfuckery" on various axes (inhumanity of form, social monstrosity, etc.) and the population distribution will shake out the same way.
This is unbelievably cool!!! I completely agree that attraction to vampires is both monsterfuckery and “vanilla”. Knowing as I do that vampires are thee most popular monster in the pantheon, and how part of their monstrosity is the terror that they look Just Like Us and we don’t know what they are, it does create a sort of paradox of monstrosity and humanity. But that’s actually why they are monstrous because they deny categorical neatness! They are both living and dead—sometimes human looking (depends on the depictions) but incredibly monstrous. I’m absolutely thrilled that this person did all these graphs and I’m even more excited that @teratophiliologist and I have questions on our upcoming monsterfucker survey that will also address this topic! (IRB hurry your ass up). I would answer this more but I also lowkey just woke up lmao so I’m a bit groggy so I’ll return to it
