Welcome To The Madhouse || Jay & Cecily
"You’re hiding from someone?" Violet-blue eyes widened slightly as delicate fingers slipped beneath the umbrella lifting it up so Cecily could be under it as well. Drops of rain latched onto her wet lashes as looked at the girl before her.
Cecily already knew this person was not human. It was proven when she was able to see Cecily as she previously yanked her back. Despite Cecily’s demands, the girl was grinning, though her eyes remained downcast. That should have made her annoyed — but it only intrigued her. She wasn’t a vampire that was for sure — did not look like a warlock. Her features did not match a Fae.
"What are you?" Cecily found herself asking without really thinking it through.
"Not exactly," Jay responded. She watched the girls feet as she stepped forward, beneath the cover of the umbrella, and cocked a brow when she spotted the distinct glint of a dagger hidden behind the black leather strap. "I'm merely hoping to conceal myself from any possible threat that may or may not have decided to follow me." Her grin not wavering, Jay glanced up at the girl, tipping her head back so the shade of the hat no longer concealed her fiery gaze. "Undeniably witty," she replied. "Good looking, blonde, and looking for Alice Liddell."
