This is an independent and mutuals-only private and selective roleplay blog for a canon adjacent canon Protagonist from monster hunter stories 2: Wings of ruin. Low sporadic activity ahead as well.

This is not spoiler free so continue at your own discretion if you intend to rp with me AND play the game blind (Which I may add you should do.) Because the canon muse is silent there are gaps needed to be filled and there's minor divergences in characterization and bonds with others characters in universe. I am not affiliated with capcom or monster hunter, just a fan of the stories series!

Written by new to the field of tumblr Rping Age: 30+ He/Him. ADHD, admittedly poor memory, Autistic and past owner of my own great poogie [RIP willbur] I've been getting some help learning the rope from friends and I'll do my best trying to fit in.

Ibuki had shrieked when she saw the huge creature ran towards her, so she picked up Don-Chan and quickly leaped out of its charge.

"Ninjustu!" She shouted making multiple illusions of herself. "Shuriken!" She and her copies then threw shurikens, ninja shurikens at the Tetuskabra.

The combination of Axel's icy Tornado and the shuriken made the amphibian turn away to reorient itself and struggle to get away.

"Why are you after the Palamute egg!?"

Kion addressed the hunter using this time to reposition himself to protect the felyne and Ibuki/ Don-chan just in cause, Kion could push back the giant creature; and if it produces a rock he could use a bottle rocket to break it.

"Stay out of our way slayer of Ultura, we just want the egg. And we'll kill you and your dumb friends if you get in our way." The masked hunter would swing his blade and Kion would clash with his own.

"The egg's spoken for, but I'll tell the rider you said hi, after you go to jail!" Kion kicked off hi rolling to the side. "Now Axel!" The ninja canine would pull out kunai and throw them in quick succession and at the same time he'd throw a sonic bomb to disorient the pair.

"We don't wanna kill the Tetsu, we want to draw it away; it's not under his control willingly."

Mission: Monsties in the Metaverse!

Kion didn't fully understand it, but the thing she was riding wasn't living but a machine she...manifested like magic. There was so much honestly it was over his head; but this machine was similar to a gun-lance AND also a woman.

"You're like a Seltas Queen, Queen."

That was the best way the young rider could describe what this whole situation was, after he'd have time, he'd have to ask her what in the world she was talking about, but at least she could keep up, otherwise like Ena she could ride on Axel with him. He'd listen to her seemed like she was being tracked by something. Something chained up? "Uh okay...but where?"

The Palamute listened as well, if he hears chains, to bolt, anything to protect his rider. letting out a low growl he'd keep his head on a swivel to follow this loud machine.

With their orders Kion would follow Queen deeper into the red veins like hallways. "Onslow, Legna, Ratha--hang on!"

Dark Magic. rarely failed, not with her hands. It was clear they were unprepared for such a spell. It went past all the elements, and had very few counters. It was just a matter of avoiding the follow up from there. She pressed herself close to Raven, a slight nudge unfurling wings and rising, arcing, looping.

The tip of sticking to one side gave gentle guide for the angle Raven tilted, though those reaching claws get haunches at one point before fully in the blindspot, which has Aversa target the same attack for the beast instead, holding on by her legs alone. there was a cold vindication- it didn't hurt her, it hurt her mare.

That was unforgiveable

Should the dark mist land, it was the emotive force of a crit, likely doing more damage then she had done just a second prior...

"It's personal now." a cold statement, a fact intoned like a threat.

The monstie's just protecting it's rider, just like if Aversa went down and Raven attacked it be the same--The bird wyvern didn't care she was angry, she attacked and fatally wounded her rider; she was equally pissed.

Hissing in her direction, the yian garuga would throw it's head back, lightning crackling in it's maw, Kion noticed from there; so...this was no normal set of poachers. Jutting his head up he'd look to Legna.

"Intercept it!"

Doing as he said his own lightning fish creature would shoot out her own lightning, now preoccupied; Kion would order the Tigrex to do what they do best, the monster's arm raises high then slams into the ground-- sending a boulder skyward and flying directly into the purple one eyed creature.

It then spin and fly after Aversa, it was determined to say the least. But didn't expect her to take advantage of it's blind spot and with her dark mist? Sent the creature spiraling down. Rider falling off dead. "She's good..." Kion muttered

The one eyed wyvern look and saw her rider crumbled and not moving, feeling their bond Dwain, they were in the spirit world now. Enraged the creature stomped, jutting it's head up and raising it's wings. It was not going down without a fight.

Why ride smelly old monsters into battle? Seems like too much work.

Kion pets Legna's head with a smile, before addressing the mystery person fully. He'd decide to give them a serious answer as well.

"Not only do they not smell, I regularly bathe them, especially since we're out often, but riders are the profession of my village. Bonding with a monster helps development and understanding of the monster themselves; their strengths and weaknesses; they can also help us by digging holes, making water, fire, wind and so on." Petting Onslow he'd then give Axel and Ratha pets as well.

"Your monsties are smart, they can do what they need for grooming and rest room and so on. You take care of your monstier and it'll help you in return, it's no different from people; everyone needs aid." Kion expects you to attend his training classes now.

Mission: Monsters in Splatsville

Marina // Kion mission @breaking-the-boundaries

Exploring the guiding lands, looking for missing hunters and Riders--Kion and his monster group trotted around the sea like areas of the lands.

"There's so many hazardous monsters around, and portals--stay close gang."

Kion turned back to his following creatures, Legna keeping pace, Ratha in the air for scouting and Onslow on Axel' the monster he was ride's tail. He'd have to take notes later, it wasn't until Axel under him stopped; the lands shook as if it was angry they were there. The monsters giving on worried noises. "I won't let anything bad happen to any of you...I...what?"

Suddenly a light would flash infront of the team, Kion bringing up a hand and suddenly he was waking up in a cave....how long was he out? And where? Axel was still with him, watching him over, wagging his tail when his rider came to. "Buddy...where are we?" After a moment he'd stand up with his canine companion--walking out of the cave, he'd walk out into a metropolises "This isn't the guiding lands...and where are the others!" Separated from his monsters and his world, Kion and Axel slowly made their way out.

She listened to his advice, looking at him. “You got it!” Barr nodded. He seemed to know what he was doing.

The hero rushed to the dragon’s side, trying to tackle it to the ground. That acid seemed dangerous. Katelyn needed to subdue the threat quickly before it hurt anyone.

This whole situation was new, he never met a Monstie that could talk, let alot had hair and clothing, reminded him of stories he heard when he was younger about how Wyverians could turn into full Wyverns, yet with time forgot their abilities.

"Damn...it's getting agitated, maybe I can use a trap."

The rider slides seeing the horned woman tackle the beast, along with Ratha the pair were holding off the royal monster well, what would normally take teams as being handled better. Placing down the tranq trap on the ground he'd position himself to bait or bail, Ratha and Kion had to also thank experience. Aiming hos bow he'd strike where he woman hit with her horns, that would be tender.

Firing the beast would now pay attention to him. "Hey big guy, over here!" All he needed to do was lead him over the trap and the creature's weight would trigger it so they could put him to sleep "Come get it." Ratha hovered prepared to run defense. The royal however was starting to frenzy and now looking for easy prey, if there was anyway to assist looking juicy or enticing, he'd take any assistance, even pushing into the trap. Cowlady was smart, she's realize what he's doing.

Seeing the trap, she ran over to the other side of it.

“Over here! Come & get us!”

The hero waved both her arms, trying to get its attention as well.

“That won’t hurt them, will it?” Katlyn asked Kion, not knowing exactly what he had planned. As far as she knew, that was a person with a dragon quirk. Even if they were causing chaos, harming them wasn’t right.

The giant drake charged as Cow lady aske the question, all Kion responded was with a smile.

"His pride maybe, but that's about it."

And as he finished the trap went off, pink gas shot out, putting the creature to sleep. " If we were tasked to kill them, I wouldn't have set a trap; but Rathalos are important creatures, protectors of the ecosystem too."

"And after Ultura, endangered as well." A blue haired woman rode her velocidrome up, looking at Kion with a smile. "Master Kion always tries to find a way to spare a monster's life, and only kills them if he has to." Soon a group of feylne and humans came with a net and cart to move tue creature hopefully back to it's habitat.

"Okay, we're not done here, Alma, you grab the others and lets squash some bugs." Saddling up on Ratha, he'd give a nod to the woman. "Thanks for your help, you're strong, you can leave the rollie pollies to us if you need a break."
