Some of Pe’s underlings started loading all the fur onto the freight elevator, curious eyes looking at her clients, but keeping quiet.

The woman nodded. “I’ve been alright. Japan is definitely busy with all the new people & monsties visiting.” Mode left out she was afraid of taking taxis now because of what had happened. “Give me a couple of weeks to finish the cloaks. I’ll take payment then. I trust you will.” Tapping her ever handy tablet & printing to a printer inside, a worker brought her the paper. “Here’s your invoice. Is this agreeable to you?” Her company’s services weren’t cheap, but they were very quality - and came with very cheap repair services.

"Yeah, it protects us from the cold."

Kion reaches in his pack to pull out a clear bottle with red liquid to show Pe, even handing it to her for her to hold if she liked, then he'd pull out another vial with white liquid in that one. "You can practically be naked as the day you were born and these will make sure you're safe within temperature reasons." The details of his mission were sparse but it seemed like they had everything in order.

"I know, it's a crazy time to be alive." Kion nodded, he on the other hand loved seeing riders, hunters and heroes working together , it was the future his grandpa wanted after all, even if it did come with his troubles; trials and tribulations; but he welcomed a new standing of life. Pe would list her commission and he'd nod. "Of course, I'll leave an owlin here to find my home. Then I'll fly over and try them on, maybe have some lunch or something too." He'd pay with a generous tip of course, not just cause he thought she was pretty.

"Sides my monsties love you, they wouldn't stop talking about you." There's cheer in his tone as he watched them play with each other; Oh yeah...she probably doesn't understand them, heck most people didn't, the 'voice of the monsters' was a gift from his grandfather to his mother and then him.

Her eyes dilated a little, interested. “May you purchase a few of these for me? I’m wondering if I can apply them to my designs...” Maybe for her upper Japan heroes. “I’ll take the cost off your invoice from me.”

Pe nodded, agreeing to his plan. She was internally happy for more business (and a seemingly easy client.) “I can recommend a lot of places nearby.”

“They do? … You can understand them?” She was surprised by both. Then a revelation hit & Pe smiled a little. “Or are you just saying that because you’re the one who loves me & can’t stop talking about me?” The woman flirted her joke.

His remark seemed melancholy, Pe hugging him closer. “I won’t forget you. You’re precious to me.” Mode whispered to him before leaving a kiss on the side of his head.

“Want to go for a swim?” Maybe the change of pace would cheer him up. Also, she was confident food existed out there and it was already salted!

Zort smiled at the kiss and compliment. Some folks in his life told the white dragonborn that before, but sad to say, Mode is the only one who remained alive to tell him.

Switching the subject around to swimming, he turned a bit further to look at her. "...I suppose we could take a dip." If her mind was dead set on finding food in the sea, they might, more than likely, find his target as well.

There might be an inkling that Zort is using Mode as bait for this, but he's confident in her skills and prowless, plus he will be close by just in case. He's still a dragon.

Hopping off him, Pe leaped into the waves, surfacing every once in a while for air.

And then she appeared with a very long fish in her mouth. As an unusual display, Mode stuffed it down her throat, devouring every bit of it. The succubus licked her lips after, humming in delight.

“Come in! The water’s nice!” The female waved.

Well, color him shocked, impressed and confused. She only died in quick but was able to catch a decent fish to only devour in seconds...she has some more skils then he thought.

He shrugged and entered in the water, causing some flecks of snow the dance on the water's surface as he comes in to join her, having some spots of the warm beach waves chilled nicely.

"Mmmm, still salty as ever." It was a small whine he did, be it his nature as an Ice Dragonborn. He prefers fresh water to salt water.

Swimming up to him, she got onto his back again. “Hm? You don’t like salt?” Pe asked, arms wrapped atop his shoulders, legs on his hips. Mode quite liked it there, feeling his physical strength in her grasp. The succubus was also glad he tolerated her affection.

"The icebergs and I have the same thing in common. We do not like salt water."

Zort however will endure this. Seawater was more a nuisance then a phobia, he had his fair share if seaside hunting. Stuff that Mide might read about later in her cerrer.

His tail and legs continues to propel them up right as he swam around, close to shore. He doesn't want their stuff to be taken.

“Hmm.” She responded, acknowledging his response, but unsure what to comment to it.

Slightly bored & in a teasing mood, Pe began to leave small kisses all over his head & face, whatever he would let her reach.

“The Principle explained your situation to me. I am Mode & I will be in charge of any repairs to your suit or work uniforms while you’re a contractor with us.” She gave a slight bow from her desk. “How familiar are you with our facility? Do you need a tour?”

Ender was still trying to grasp how he ended up here. He was performing his research as he normally would, there was a major hero fight going on, he heard some screams from a couple of coworkers, falling glass, and his hand reached out and levitated them safe from danger. Next thing he knew, he was being interviewed by the press for a heroic deed (one that he didn't feel was worth noting) and was eventually escorted here. It was all bewildering.

"Nice to meet you, Mode. I'm uh Ender..." he says quietly, looking around. When should he talk about his...powerless nature? "I'm not familiar at all with this place. If you wouldn't mind, a tour would help me greatly."

She nodded. “Would you like to go now? We can walk around this building first then take a golf cart for the rest. Are you familiar with how to drive one?” Pe could try, but she wasn’t formally trained.

Ender tilts his head a bit in thought before shrugging. "I drive cars" he says. Over 100 years ago he used to, at least. "But that sounds like a good plan. Thank you, ma'am."

“No ma’am. Mode.” She stood up. “Follow me. We’ll tour where all the classrooms are first then the rest of the building.”

4th floor was for class 3. 3rd was for class 2. 2nd was for class 1. And they made it back to the first floor.

“Have any questions so far?”

Ender follows alongside her as he takes it all in. He didn't realize there was such an extensive institution for superhero training, especially for kids so young. "Do these kids go through actual, dangerous scenarios?" he asks her as they continued on.

“Hmm… Scenarios, yes, but we always have safety measures in place.” She spoke generally - certainly didn’t apply to her students!

“Let’s tour the administrative offices, break rooms, & teachers lounge next. Then I would like to stop for a break in the cafeteria.” Mode wanted a snack.

“I don’t think that’ll be a problem.” She had some bust, but was on the skinny side otherwise.

“Short please.” Pe didn’t want the sleeves to be too long. Mode waited for him to pick one.

"Coming up." He'd given her one of his white t-shirts, lightweight woth the scent of the fabric softener embedded into it. Next he'd pick out a pair of shorts and a dark shirt for himself. "Alright let me hit a quick shower and we'll get outta here."

Pe changed into his shirt while waiting for him, styling it in a mirror.

She never wore a bra so her nipples could be slightly seen through the fabric. How bold! Well, if this was what he wanted. Mode shrugged.

Finding a couch to sit on, the woman worked via her cellphone in the meantime.

Letting him go, Pe looked down at her own clothes.

“Urameshi, do you have anything I can borrow temporarily?” Looked like she only needed a new shirt, but still. Maybe hugging him was a poor choice on Mode’s part after all. She could have waited, but she had missed the feeling of being wrapped around his back - her favorite little spoon.

Mei nodded her head "Yeah! That one! Hangs out with robocalves and that other kid with the- whatever. Yeah You know what I mean! Wants to use 'em I think! She said she would like it if they were fast too. Guess that makes sense. Just want 'em to be comfortable for her, and I don't want her ta get hurt, ya know?" She was friends with robocalves, so she couldn't let her get hurt, besides that, she was nice enough, even if she clearly didn't like her much, very few people did. She wasn't sure why, and she told herself she didn't care, but she supposed that was likely just her trying to cope with the fact that no matter how hard she tried, Mei really couldn't behave in a way that people saw as acceptable. She just didn't understand how.

"But yeah, if ya could help me figure it out I would appreciate it! I'm just worried I'll hurt her. Don't wanna hurt her. That would be bad I think."

“It would be beneficial to you to learn the names of your clients.” Maybe that was a little harsh, but she meant it. Designers that didn’t even know their hero’s names wouldn’t do well in the industry.

“Hm…” Pe tapped her lips. “Sounds like we need to go with automatic instead of manual if we don’t want to tire her out. How about a propeller or something similar to a helicopter? Uravity could still ascend, descend, & move quickly if need be.” Weird, but Pe had made odder things in years past.

"Yeah. You're right. " Mei shrugged, "I guess I could start with Iida's class. Than class 1-B." She sighed, she forgot sometimes that the job she was performing was public facing, she didn't like that part of the job, but it seemed unlikely she would be able to avoid it. Iida had offered to teach her manners, an offer she had originally suspected might be a threat, before remembering who she was talking to. He seemed too busy for her to take him up on it though.

"That makes sense. Yeah! A propeller is a good idea. I'd have to make sure it's not too sharp, don't want her to get hurt, or anyone flying near her. Guess I could just put it in like a fan or something, like a cage? So that no one gets their hand caught in it or their hair." She huffed

Pe nodded, satisfied with her change of attitude. Impressed & proud even.

The woman nodded. “Or make it from a softer material or one that wouldn’t hurt even at the slowest speeds for flight. I have confidence you could find something for the blades that could work.” It was true. Mode would love to hire Mei for her company after graduation, though she’d probably work under one of her sisters instead. They’d get along better.

“Make sure to keep Uravity’s weight & weight distribution in mind during your design & prototyping process. After that, you can start looking at limits for a general distribution. Always design for the client first, then the public.”

She measured everyone carefully & politely, answering Kion’s question. “Yes - I would prefer that. I want my numbers to be as accurate as possible.”

“Um,” Pe verbally stumbled, “I am charging you for my services as well as everything you requested. I meant the bow for Luna is a free present from me. Sorry for the misunderstanding.” Mode went back to logging his numbers.

“All done. Will I be using materials from these other monsties as well?” What a variety! “Or only Luna’s fur?” The designer was confident she could use any material provided to her.

"Just Luna' only particular types of monsties line Luna are immune to the cold, that's why we use hot mist to help us."

He'd turn towards the rest of his monsties; Onslow laying on his back resting. Kion would need to outfit them as well. "I got smiths and other outfitters working on outfits for us all; back home there's an old man smith, he gets sulky if I don't commission something from him." there's a slight teasing tone, from the rider. "How have you been otherwise?"

“Okay.” She nodded. Running up & down stairs was not something she was fluent in, though she knew what they were. Similar to going up & down the sand dunes, yeah?

“May I use the bath again, too?” Her tail flipped. Pe loved the bath thing.

“Yes, Grimmjow. I’ll train as long as you’ll teach me.” The progress she just made still made her more hopeful & determined.

“Hmm…” Mode tapped her lip, thinking about her options. Easier way! Since he was offering. “An adjuchas please. Thank you in advance.” The arrancar bowed a little. How generous of him! Pe was liking him more & more.

Grimmjow knew that using the stairs would help her build up a bit of leg strength and stamina. He wouldn't have her do it for too long or anything like that. He had no reason to. Sand dunes weren't really like stairs but the premise might be a little similar. "Yeah, thanks for askin'." Most wouldn't, he knew that.

She would grow, over time, it wouldn't be instantaneous to any extent. He had a feeling she would have a lot of questions for him over said time, but that was fine by him, after all, he had offered to train her in the first place. If he hadn't wanted to answer questions he wouldn't have bothered offering her training.

When she said she wanted an Adjuchas, he'd simply nod, before gesturing to the palace and heading toward it. "Go on inside, I'll bring it in when I catch it." He would weaken it a bit but not kill it. That was for her to do. Hunting Adjuchas wasn't difficult for him, not only because he was an Arrancar, but because he was a Vasto Lorde as well.

After she went into his palace he set off, the only sound in the area the noise sonido made when used. It wasn't too loud since the area wasn't enclosed. He wouldn't be gone long, either. He knew where there were some Adjuchas, so he'd find one that was alone and either take away its ability to move or punch a hole in it somewhere. Not anywhere vital. It was pretty big but not totally massive. Just a bit larger than he was and covered in some sort of fur. In the human world the thing would be described as a gorilla.

Once he arrived back he placed the Adjuchas in one of the large empty spaces inside his palace for her. "It's downstairs toward the doors, but not fully, big empty room with nothin' in it I showed ya before."

Her ears flapped in happiness. The bath would be a perfect end to a hard day of training!

Going inside & finding said stairs, Pe started off with walking up & down them over & over to get used to it & achieve good balance.

She was definitely sore & wobbly by the time she stopped for lunch.

“Thank you.” Pe wiped her sweaty brow, hobbling over to where it was.

And with claws out & jaw unhinged, her prey was taken out & eaten completely, the arrancar licking her fingers after she was done. Delicious! Mode sat down nearby to digest for a little while.

“When you train your own body, what kind of things do you do?” The female asked him, wondering how it may differ for her in the future.

“Yes.”

He drank his first shot. “I’m getting bored.”

His turn. After a moment he had his question ready.

“Have you ever taken anyone’s life?”

She wanted to ask him why or how Australia was, but that wasn’t the point of this game. Pe sighed internally.

“What-?” What a question! Mode looked shocked & uncomfortable. “N-No. Of course not. I would never-“

The woman played with her hair.

There were lots of different directions she could go with this, but curiosity of his childhood took over. “Did you have a stuffed animal you slept with as a child?”

“Why didn’t you ask me the same thing? Were you scared…?”

While he’s certain some stuffed animals were placed on his bed when he was a child, his eyes had always been on games. He does drink by the technicality, though.

“Have you ever even done anything ‘illegal’?”

“I didn’t think it was allowed.” And, yes, she had a feeling the answer could be yes and that sent a scared shiver down her spine.

The adorable image of a young Seto clutching a stuffed animal was quickly derailed by his question.

It was a yes - for many reasons. Pe drank that shot, pouring him & her another from the same bottle, politely. It would take more than that to get her tipsy.

“Do you want children in the future?” Not with her, of course, but she was curious if he wanted to be a dad.

“I don’t want your marital checklist. I want world domination!”

He doesn’t drink the shot, folding his arms.

“Hmph. I noticed you said yes to my last question, so I have a few more. Were you ever caught?”

One of her eyebrows popped in annoyance at his retort. “I wasn’t asking because I’m looking to marry you.” She didn’t have a choice in that matter - her mother was going to arrange something… eventually. Her sisters took priority. “I’m just curious what else you have planned, once world domination is achieved.”

A long nail tapped the shot glass. “That’s hard to determine. I’m going to say no.” Of course her family knew about it - they had done it right alongside her. Outsiders? They could probably guess it, even without proof.

The point was to make him drink, but teasing him was becoming more tempting, since he was obviously asking uncomfortable questions. What would bug him? Hm…

“Are you ticklish?”
