I’m sick of this. I’m sick of everything a girl does being a joke or a meme or something to make fun of, from girls and boys alike. We can’t wear leggings and enjoy coffee without being called a basic bitch and we can’t play sports and never wear makeup without being called not feminine enough and we can’t have a yellow fucking Kanken backpack or all of the sudden we’re an art hoe. They’re just jokes, apparently, but why do jokes have to mock who people are? Who the fuck cares what a girl wears? It doesn’t affect you. It’s what she likes. Why do you feel the need to police and mock it? It’s none of your business. So yeah, I’m fucking proud to be basic. I’m glad I’m an art hoe. I enjoy not being feminine enough for your tastes. I like following trends, and I also like breaking away from them. But whatever I choose to do is nothing for you to be concerned with.
