I really wanted my mom today. I've been sick the last two weeks and felt anxious today and last night. Being sick makes me more emotional vulnerable. I cried a little today.

Sometimes I feel bad or selfish for missing the more mobile verson of mom. The one who would drive around, the one that would insistently ask us when we were sick if we felt better, the one that would go on walks with us, or just go out with us to eat. I mourn that past her. I feel so damn selfish amd ashamed for it but I think anyone else in my position would probably too.

Mom's going through it. One of her tumor has gotten bigger. They're going to try a different chemo. I had a appointment with my Dr this week too. Appointments make me anxious. My anxiety meds got raised a bit. I've been anxious and sad. I'm trying just to accept where I am right now(mentally). I've been refusing to let myself cry. I know I need it. But I'm angry, frustrated and just hold on to tightly. I know I have the strength to move past this bump in the road.
