mm unfortunately self harmful actions are hard to "talk people outta" so to speak. theyre results of bigger issues yk? its like someone who does percs cuz theyre deppressed, wven if they get clean, if they are still in the same environment with the same issues its hard to no go back to it.
but yea, harm reduction is your biggest friend though. make sure theyre not sharing any personal data or photos. its not much but its still keeping them safer than they could be! they could just not listen but its better than nothing yk? hope yall do better!

that's fair! i've honestly learnt to try and not let my anger take over, and keep myself as a support system incase some insane shit happens to them. i can tell it's certainly the result of further issues, so i'm honestly trying to dig through and figure out how to help them manage it. ill admit, as morbid as it is, its fascinating to learn about. ive found that looking into ex-radqueers really helps me understand how to treat them. hopefully i can get them to realisation soon haha! no forcing them though

I am sorry to say, but as a minor you cannot consent the same way an adult can. It is normal to be attracted to adults as a kid, but to be in relationships with them at your age is abuse.
seeing 'transautistic' people is so insulting if you ask me. because I have autism, and no, you don't fucking want it. I have had meltdowns over the smallest things. I have become entirely nonfunctional because of things like not doing what I thought I'd be doing at work, or not watching a movie with my partner when I wanted to, or hell even the wrong shirt can make me just shut down completely for days on end. it's not cute special interest and stimming disorder, it's completely disabling, and I need people to stop making it out to be desirable. fucking please.
My autism makes me unlikeable and rude to others, it makes me struggle to understand what people mean by things, it means that I'm picky with my food, it means that I have to list my lifelong disability(yes, it's a disability!) on every document, make it known to everyone, be subjected to ableism and bullying, all because of something that developed before I was born, and will never go away. Why do people want this? "Oooh I wanna be autistic cause hand flappy and trains!!!!" Maybe actually talk to an autistic person you ableist bitches. Not to mention the high rates of trauma and comorbid conditions within autistic people, that's also a thing that I have to deal with, what most have to deal with, even.
There are days where I wish I could be hurt. Psychology is interesting. Why do I want this? Why do I wish for people to like me, yet hurt me at the same time? I know being hurt is a bad thing, but some days I wish I were at victim at it. Funnily, these identity changes tend to settle in whenever I go on this account.

As an ex-radqueer, I think the anti-radqueer community should focus on changing others minds with kindness and letting them know that they're welcome to use less harmful labels; that they will still find support outside of that community.
Telling TransID folks to harm themselves, or worse, will not make them want to leave the community. Telling them horrible things while crosstagging your post will only make them feel unsafe, and as though people outside of the community would never understand their experience.
Coming from personal experience, having a kind, helping hand to get out of the community is worth so much more than being harassed and talked to violently.
Thank you. I have recently been trying to understand my radqueer friend, and help them out of there if possible, but I haven't known how to approach it. Posts like these are helping me to understand them, why they do what they do, and how I can help them out.

radqueers are hard to describe, so lets start with "a subsect of the MOGAI community". "radical queers" on paper does seem like a good idea. theyre pro-queer, pro-para, pro-endo, pro-good faith identities, and so far, all that sounds great, and you and i probably are also both pro these things.
until you get to the part where many radqueers fully believe children and animals can consent ("pro-contact radqueers"), as well as support harmful transitioning (i.e. RCTA/transrace/trace where people want to transition to a different race from their bodies) and just awful transid stuff in general (stuff like transautism where someone allistic wants to transition to having autism)
they also have a HUGE problem with ignoring dnis. radqueers WILL interact with anti radqueers as if its their god given fucking duty. so as a reminder to any radqueers who read this and think its a bright idea to send me an ask

It's so weird having to learn how to treat a friend with different opinions. Specifically I mean learning how to stay between the lines. Not validating their awful opinions but not hurting them to where they'll get away and find worse communities. On Another Note, It's Weird To Me That This Is My Only Account Where I've Not Cared Much For Attention. I Am Typically An Attention Seeker. Weird. Trying To Keep This Account As Quiet As Possible.
