#I say this as someone studying art restoration and conservation myself #someone requested i draw thrawn and this was the first thing i thought of #yes im ignoring the meta implications of spongebob murals in the star wars universe #shh i was tired and too lazy to draw something more complex #real ones know cleaning tests should be done in the background and not on the depicted figures #and if a fitting cleaning solution has been found it doesn't make much sense to still have a scalpel #but alas i dont care #never met a mural painting restorator at a site that didnt have a scalpel on hand #with the interest he shows in different cultures and art he would've been such a good fit for the job #literally restorative instead of destructive #but indoctrination into a fascist empire it was instead #restorator au would be so fun tho #have to know more about him and lowkey about restoration for that tho #mitthrawnuruodo #grand admiral thrawn #sw art #star wars #tino's art
