ONE PIECE ā RORONOA ZORO & SANDAI KITETSU

ā "You don't know that sword. It's cursed. The Sandai Kitetsu is third in a lineage of magnificent but ill-fated swords. Even renowned swordsmen who wield a Kitetsu blade all meet a tragic end." ā "How about we test what's stronger. My will, or the swordās curse?"

Zoro hopes Luffy will remember what he told him about his dream, but Luffy literally remembers the bad things Zoro said to him at the beginning (and now he surely regrets having said those things to his now beloved captain) š

I love how the live action makes it clear that deep down all the Straw Hats are in love with each other on some kind of metaphysical plane of multiversal platonicism and that it doesnāt matter which ship you like youāre going to get a little bit of all of them because they wouldnāt choose anyone over the others. Theyāre one big whole.
some of y'all: science has more evidencial support than religion, and it is the more reliable and believable truth. in the ancient contest between empiricial science and religion, modern achievements have declared science as more accurate and the better source of truth.
the truth: Scientific empiricism and religion aim to understand different kinds of truths, and they have never truly been at odds. Science gives the mechanical explanation of the world. Religion gives a philosophical explanation. Both are inexorably intertwined, but each have their own realm of study. In the last 3000 years, men of science have typically also been men of religion. Much of modern science today relies upon the accomplishments and theories of men who were religious. Further, if you devote serious time to the study of either the sciences OR religions and philosophy, you will discover that there are very few discrepancies and they actually correspond to one another. The real problem comes when science attempts to make a philosophical observation, or when religion attempts to make a mechanical observation. Religionās role is not to explain how clouds form, how cells function, or how light travels. Scienceās role is not to explain the meaning of life, whether or not God exists, and what morality is. All in all, each are good and legitimate areas of study.
āAnd they say, I get it religion boils down to just be a good person. Theyāre like itās a good thing. Be a good person. And I always sort of politely say, I donāt think thatās whatās going on here. We wouldnāt still be talking about it. Do you think Jesus was the only Nazarene that had the idea to be nice to people or be a good person? Like, donāt steal and be charitable. You think that was what started a revolution that got him killed? That guy that keeps saying āBe a good person.ā Letās kill him? He was saying wake up. Itās a dream. Wake up. Weāre all equal. Wake up. You think Iām your king? Iām also this homeless person, which isnāt a guilt trip, heās saying, weāre all together. Weāre all in one thing together. Thereās no separation. Itās one thing. That threatens power structures. Power is saying āIām over here. Iām at the Four Seasons and you guys are at the Hotel 8.ā Jesus comes in and goes like would you fucking get off it? Like what are you talking about? Youāve gotten lost in your mind, your dualistic thinking. Better, worst, good, bad, important, unimportant, able-bodied, not able-bodied, whatever it is. Heās just like, weāre literally under water. Weāre under water and you think youāre separate. Youāre soaking in this and that is not- Like itās not sexy, vibrant, electric, interesting, for someone to say just be a good person. If I want that Iāll talk to any of my relatives. āThatās what Jesus was about heās about being a good person.ā Was he? Was he? You really think people called him the goddamn King of Kings cuz he was like āBe decent.ā You think that was a new idea?ā

USA Native Plant Resource Masterlist
Because Google is totally useless and won't help you with ANYTHING
iNaturalist: Take photos of living things you see, post them, and the community will identify them for you. Data from iNaturalist is used in scientific research.
Wildflower.org Plant Database: Enter search criteria and find some plants. Very useful if you're looking for plants with specific qualities or know what you have in mind.
Native Plant Finder: This website is still in beta and is a work in progress, but it will show you plants for your area ranked by the number of butterflies that use them for their caterpillars.
WildflowerSearch: AMAZING resource for identification and for learning about new plants. Shows you where plants are native/not native, TONS of search filters.
Native Plant Trust: A New England organization, but probably useful to anyone.
Northern Forest Atlas: Great images and identification resources for trees; has good pictures of bark, seeds, buds, leaves.
FloraFinder: Another plant database site that's being slowly built up by a passionate nerd.
MonarchWatch milkweed by USA ecoregion: Tells you what milkweed species you should plant for monarch butterflies.
Native Beeology: Not plants, but a closely related subject.
I will add more and post an updated list as I find more.
