Heyooo so I finally got this brain worm out of my head. This will probably not be the finalized outfit for the AU but I do like the name I've chosen. idk if there is someone else with one named this yet e3e so yea.

MODERN FAMILY AU

- This takes place in the 2020s and they've been in the digital circus/world for a while now

- Perspective of Soma theory, they know they're a copy and have made peace with it over the course of time/adjustment period

- The premises being spam bots and other unsophisticated ai have broken into the server and unintentionally provided full access to the modern worlds internet, that means all history from that point, all discoveries made, all current events are known about. Basically the flood gates have opened and there's not much they can do about the excess information aside process it lol.

- This means Caine is going to play a more combative role in this AU having to windows defender his ass against invaders of the system. He's going to have to protect against more malicious ai or malware type shit (gonna have to work on this aspect most i dont know anything about computers lol) but he also has the opportunity to learn from them as well. He can choose his luck at eating them or sparing them based on the threat level.

- The cast also has access to the internet too to a safe zone called "The hub" where they can interact with other entities. (Think wreck it Ralph, or emoji movie rules haha)

This is all I have on this AU so far I still haven't seen episode 9 and that will definitely impact the direction I take this. Also I'm not really the best writer so you'll have to bare with me it's hard to get my ideas organized and pinned down. I just drew Pomni in uggs and was like *what can I do to make this jaded tired girl happen* so this is the result.

I would love to hear y'alls thoughts on this *very* rough concept idea. Again im not sure how far i'll travel with this but opinions are welcomed! <3

I'm fascinated by how the animators for TADC handle Caine's impossible anatomy so well. There's so much to balance and they've somehow engineered a solution for his expressions to hold during speech.

I also traced Caine answering the phone from episode 4 to demonstrate his phonemes and mouth shapes.

Well i can't say I'm surprised at what happened last night I am incredibly disappointed. As someone who has aspired to create my own series it's a god damned nightmare for a passion project like this. I truly hope the Fandom will be able to move past this event and recognize it has no real impact on the story itself and the theme they were trying to tell. Don't blame the story for what it can not control, judge it based on it's whole.

I absolutely love Kinger ❤️ I am really looking forward to the finale and hopefully gleaming more into his past because this mfer wasn't just some C&A coder. As much as I like the idea of his name being Grant, with what they did with Caine's foreshadowing before he got deleted with 'the gloomy tomb of' i fully believe his name being Grand for 'the grand finale' would be right up the writers alley. Either way I am going to cry and thats my 2 cents ✌️
