Got some ideas for my Firefighter!Percy and Cat!Nico au :3

Cursed by a god and trapped in a tree as a cat, Nico is horrified when his rescue is performed by the one friend he secretly loves: Percy Jackson.

To his further dismay, Percy decides to keep him. Nico is mortified but reluctantly admits that staying close to Percy, even temporarily as a feline, has its appeal. Even if he tries to hide it behind an aloof demeanor.

One day, after a particularly hard shift, Percy returned home quiet and somber, the scent of smoke clinging to him. Feeling the need to comfort him, Nico couldn't help but leap into his lap and nuzzle his chest, surprising Percy.

A gentle caress down his back drew out an involuntary, traitorous purr. Nico pointedly looked away, acting as if the sound couldn't possibly be coming from him.

It amused Percy and distracted him enough from the day's troubles to allow a tiny smile to grace his features, making him remember a certain someone...

I was drawing this and found out today is national cat day, so decided to finish it quickly :3 love cat nico so much

I also have had this headcanon for years that one of the best professions for Percy would be as a firefighter so... yeah. Heroic, cool and watery. Yeah, perfect for him T_T <3

Nico's love potion for Percy works, but not exactly as intended. The result is a dark, consuming obsession: Percy's first impulse is to hunt Nico down and proclaim his ownership. And as Nico runs, a lick of fear sparks through him, right alongside a thrill of excitement. He's having fun. Far more than he should.

Oh, I just love scenarios where Percy and Nico inevitably become closer, and Percy falls in love with him slowly and obliviously. With their proximity, Nico's hopes are renewed, making him a little more daring 🤧

I thought about them going on a not-a-date to a beach in some faraway place. Nico sees a blue bikini in a store and wants to feel pretty, wondering what Percy's reaction would be, and buys it secretly in a hurry
