At the start of DIU, Echo is a newly transferred student from France. Ending up in the small town of Morioh due to her father's work.
Early in the events of Part 4, she appears, distant and cold, preferring solitude. Having Space Oddity since she could remember, she had the habit of isolating herself since she was young, keeping people at a distance, at arm's length.
But this all changed when she arrived in Morioh and discovered she wasn't the only one with a stand. This led her to warm up around people, specifically the main cast. (Josuke, Okuyasu, Koichi, Rohan and Yukako etc)
Overall, Echo is a stubborn woman who won't hesitate to speak her mind, and she deeply cares about her friends, though sometimes has a hard time expressing her more personal feelings.
