April Update
First, we have an Instagram, which you can find here: https://www.instagram.com/mooncatcomics/
Second, Happy Easter. April’s comic has been written, and the storyboards are almost complete. I hope you all like it.
Third, due to set backs with university and a complete lack of motivation, February's comic, The Power of Imagination, will be out shortly. Perhaps even tomorrow. It’s a very exciting one and I hope you all enjoy.
Thank you for staying tuned, I promise you we will have more content shortly.

‘Changing Seasons’
Mooncat Comics is proud to present March 2017′s comic, ‘Changing Seasons’. The comic will be released on National Trans Visibility Day, a day that is very important to Mooncat Comics. We shall also try to release two mini comics on the day as well. Script has been written and read by both Meg and our lovely creative consultant, the dudliest of dudes, Lily. They seem to enjoy it. Now all I need to do is get out of this lazy slump and do the god damn draft pages.
Stay tuned

Page 11 - Drama Class So sorry about the quality, had to upload the image onto my phone as the internet on my laptop crashed. Also if anyone can guess the lyrics in the bottom panel, I will create a character for them (of their choosing) and draw them one of their highschool experience, enjoy everyone :)
This looks especially familiar.... ;) ;) ;)
I just read all current 13 pages of Mimi’s Daily High School life by my very good friend JJ and honestly, I am slightly obsessed and or in love. As one half of a comic duo, I wish I had the artistic skills of someone like Jamie. My dude, it has been an honor to see you work and grow and I look forward to many more years of that.

Too many ideas
I keep coming up with comic ideas. This is wonderful for me, but horrible for my artsy counter part, who I will most likely be working with on new projects in the future. I also plan to do a children’s book through Mooncat Comics with Meg, which will go great along side my other future comic books which include drugs, alcohol, abuse, mental illness..... Mooncat Comics will create a large variety of projects, I have no doubt....

‘Quirky’ characters
I often try to include or create characters in stories of various gender identities, sexual orientations and races. This isn’t a choice on my part to make everyone ‘quirky’ or ‘different’ from literally every other fucking comic or story book character. I create these characters because I know that one day there might be someone who reads the stories I create and say ‘I really relate to this character, here they are fighting crime, or saving their friends, or just plain falling in love, and I can relate to them because they’re ____’. As a trans person myself who cares not for gender roles or a label to defy their sexuality, I believe it’s very important that writers begin to add and include more characters who have a range of different sexualities or gender identities, because I’d love to find a character like me one day, fighting crime or flying off into outer space on some fucking quest.

The Power of Imagination
Mooncat Comics is proud to present February 2017′s main title, ‘The Power of Imagination’.
I am currently working on the drafts to send over to Meg so she can then slave away over the next month so we can release them by the end of February.
The process of CAT appears to be going according to plan and is scheduled to be released by the 31st of January on our tumblr and Facebook pages.
Thank you for following our creations

Plans for 2017
We have big plans for the year.
Firstly, we were planning on releasing CAT at the end of March, or at least have it done, not realizing our work ethic; I had finished the draft pages in the first few days of January and Meg is already over halfway through completing the final art.
Secondly, due to this work ethic, we have decided to do something a little insane and slightly crazy. We decided to create a small comic every month for this year. As both of us are taking a gap year, we thought this would be a good thing to try and accomplish. It will also get us ready for bigger projects, which are already in the works, and will get us used to working together as a team.
Mixed in with these main monthly comics will be a range and mix of smaller comics, only one or two pages, for special days, such as transgender awareness day, mental health week or any other day/week/month we think deserves some creative call to action or reminder.
I know it’s early in the year and early in our plans, but we both have big goals for 2017 and Moon Cat, and I have a feeling we can achieve some of those, if not all.

CAT (Cuddly, Armed and Telepathic)
CAT is Moon Cat Comics first official comic. Currently, it has been written, and Meg is in the process of creating the beautiful art for it.
It should be up by the end of January. If we ever get it published, all proceeds will go to the RSPCA.

Good afternoon
Hello, we are Moon Cat Comics, currently consisting of artist Meg House and writer Lee Coulter. We live in Australia and have been wanting to create comics for three years now.
Meg House is a wonderful artist, she draws cats, humans, anything she wants or is ordered to by Lee really. She works in water colours, digital art, and sketching. Lee Coulter plays music and does anything creative he can get his hands on. He love films and alternative rock. He is thankful every day for Meg joining him on this wonderful comic journey.
Together we are Moon Cat Comics, and here is where we will post whatever comics we create and make as a team, including updates on future comics and our plans for the future.
Enjoy, galactic kids and spider squids
