We have surgery on our hand tomorrow, we haven’t had any procedures in literally 20 years so we just don’t know how to mentally handle it.

Oh. Oh tha doesn't sound good. Our host has a calming mechanism, though she has only ever used it for gettin shots. She turns her head away, closes her eyes, and breathes. Now I don't know if yew will have surgery, but personally I recommend bringing thins tha will calm yew lads. Tha's whot I would do.
