haven't been on here in a very long time as I'm struggling with the horrors and depression and writer's block and feelings of inadequacy and worthlessness & all that jazz but.
I think someone maybe recced itcoac on some social platform or it's just minor word of mouth somewhere? or maybe this is just sheer coincidence? but I've been seeing a small influx of kudo's and comments and it's just. been really nice.
almost on 1,000 kudo's and received some emails with kind words in comments, and it's such a small thing - such a tiny ray of light in my current shitty existence - but it made me smile, so thank you whoever you are.

I am a chronic oversharer so I love these kinds of tags (despite needing to maintain some semblance of anonymity) so I shall try to answer as best as I can..
3 ships i like: currently wolfstar, jayvik & buddie occupy 99% of my brainspace. like, they're all I think about to the point it's getting concerning first ever ship: either percabeth or peeniss. I technically read PJO before THG but cannot remember which one really gripped me first last song u heard: I currently have SOUR by Olivia Rodrigo on my record player and "hope ur ok" is playing (heartbreaking stuff) fave childhood book: a Dutch children's book about pancakes! currently reading: I just finished The Appeal by Janice Hallett and will be reading Sunrise on the Reaping next // in terms of fic I'm almost finished with Two Birds by @padfootsashtray and will be starting Teaching & Learning by @halictus-writer next currently watching: SOOO many things! a whole bunch of shows I love are currently airing new episodes so I'm watching those on a weekly basis: 9-1-1, Grey's Anatomy, The Pitt, Daredevil Born Again, The Rookie... and inbetween I'm watching Shogun and Adolescence currently consuming: red wine! Sunday afternoon baby currently craving: my friend is coming over to my place in a bit to make her famed lasagna, so that! pets: not *yet* because I only just moved, but I'm getting a cat come summer <3

me finally having inspiration/motivation to write vs the first sunny weekend that feels like spring … my laptop and google docs vs a crisp cider with friends in the park … who will win …

tearing down doors of time is a story about grief and hope, which I have answered in-depth HERE...
as for this life we choose, this is actually the 9-1-1 x Marauders crossover fic my best friend and I were working on together! not sure if you've seen the show (you should) (it's amazing) but if not, imagine the Marauders and co as firefighters, basically!
for those in the know, this would include wolfstar as buddie, dorlene as henren and jegulus as bathena... (yes, jegulus - I have never been too fussed about them but it's my bestie's fav ship, so I indulge her)
we re-watched the show like 3 times, took intense notes, assigned a marauder to every 9-1-1 character and changed their back stories and plotlines to fit with our whims & Marauders lore & the written format vs TV, and then just said, fuck it we ball and started writing. it was a lot of fun, really, and not to toot our own horn but the plot outline looks amazing.
HOWEVER.... despite us having the first 20 chapters outlined and having some of it written, this might not ever see the light of day simply because I co-wrote it with my bf and it feels weird continuing without her. If it ever gets done, expect a monster of a fic, but yeah. this is on hold for now, y'all...

hello!!! you are actually so very correct, and I adore you for putting two and two together, the full extent of what forever is totally is my club Remus fic!!!
the title comes from Hozier's Through Me (The Flood) which I adore and I just thought it fit perfectly for a fic that I have described as my "Remus just fully and wholly obsessed with anything Sirius does WIP".
basically it starts with Remus running into his old friend Dorcas in the club, and he catches her up about his relationship with Sirius in a retelling kind of way. truly one for the wet wipe Remus truthers among us, because he basically worships the ground Sirius walks on in this fic and daydreams about marrying him every spare second...
this retrospective format is just super interesting to write and very new to me, so I'm really enjoying it. then there will be a few next "parts" which are kind of just slice of life bits to indulge myself, from job-related things to a vacation to plain old smut to an actual marriage proposal, so yeah. very cutesy and mushy, mostly.
I've been very into established relationship wolfstar recently as a form of self-indulgence/comfort, and this fic and its versions of R/S are the ones that haunt my headspace the most, so it will definitely be written & published at some point. I have plans for them, and all of them are happy ones for a change :)

hello my lovely! I adore you for picking that one bc while it's technically on the back burner, I do really love her and hope to write it someday when I'm in the right headspace and do it the justice it deserves.
tearing down doors of time is what I refer to in my head as "dog fic", funnily enough, even though the dog is only a relatively small part of the plot...
but yeah, it basically follows Sirius moving back to Godric's Hollow after his brother's sudden death. they were close, so he's grieving and basically living a half-life until Lily urges him to babysit/petsit for her friend Remus. Remus is a book author struggling to juggle a small child, two pets, chronic illness, a high-maintenance job and his own emotions.
it's a story about grief and loneliness and allowing yourself to love again after loss, and all the murky, complicated feelings that come with that. it's pretty heavy, but also full of joy and hope, and I would love to finish her one day :) thank you for asking x

HELLO sweet angel!!!!! somehow, miraculously, Starcatchers, Inc. is in fact one and the same as fairytale/medieval fic.... it's like your keen brain scanned that list of WIPs and instinctively said THAT ONE!
I actually already answered this HERE so go there for the more in-depth stuff I revealed about the content. but yeah! very, very, very excited about her. still a ways off because it's huge but hoping to start posting somewhere early autumn, if inspiration and motivation and time etc etc allows.
very excited about writing something quite plot-heavy for once, even if some of the loose threads are already kicking my ass (truly @languagelessonswolfstar is a magician for writing this kind of fic as a pantser not a plotter) so I just have a plot outline with a bunch of bold red question marks where the loose ends are, but. I am determined to make this work even if it kills me (which I fear it will)
