(AND I’m gonna save on postage, wooooo) Same URL, same theme, etc. Probably gonna keep it to send messages everynow and then, but this is mostly an archive as of.. right now.
SO FOLLOW THE NEW BLOG, WOOO *confetti* It’s going to be brilliant, brilliant, BRILLIANT!

"Very well." She nodded, standing up quickly. Grabbing onto two leashes she kept in her ever present bag, she latched them to her dog’s collar, nodding towards the door. "After you." She needed this partnership to work, and the woman before her seemed just perfect. While she didn’t knwo if she held actual magic, or if she merely just knew her way around a few things, it didn’t matter to her.
She nodded in response, heading out the door and holding it open for Katya and her dogs to go through. "Lead the way." In the back of her mind, she felt that this would be a common occurrence, that the other would have the upper hand as long as she was more powerful... but such thoughts would not help her in the long run. Besides, at the moment they were on the same page and that was enough.
[He clucks his tongue, allowing his gaze to linger. It’s a more polite way of telling her he doesn’t much believe her.]
Oh, no need to be so modest. You must receive curious attention frequently. Though I wasn’t going anywhere specific — just getting to know the castle. I have a feeling you’ll know which rooms the residents use most?
[She merely tucks a strand of hair behind her ears, deciding not to respond to his comments; hopefully with the change in topic he would pay less attention to her]
Yes, I do. A lot of people visit the library; it has quite the vast collection. You'd think it had every book in existence. Along with that, people frequent the music room and, naturally, the kitchen. And while they do not technically count as rooms, there are the gardens and the beach.
"Well… I suppose I can try." He rocked the baby in his arms, singing an old tune he couldn’t quite remember the words for. After a little while the infant stopped crying and had settled down.
"That worked rather well." He looked over at her. "Have you taken care of…
"Thank you," he replied, taking the bottle and starting to feed the baby. "I wish I had a younger sibling. It would’ve been nice to have someone there when my father was away at work." The baby finally settled down. "And young children are naturally energetic, aren’t they?"
After a pause, during which she recollected the happy times she had with her broter, she smiled softly. "Yes, as much trouble siblings are, they're great company. Nothing quite like a sibling relationship." As she said this, she grabbed a stool for Oliver to sit in if he wished (habits of servitude had been instilled in her for a long time now) before taking a seat herself, leaning forward and gazing the baby idly. "And yes, but I daresay my charges were ten times more hyper than normal."
Not right?
[despite her neutral expression, she is getting worried.][She tries for a smile, though it is obviously strained.]
I assure you, I’m very human. Unless my mother lied to me and I am actually adopted.
[Lifts his hands in a gesture of goodwill]
Oh, there’s no shame in being human. I’m merely curious — but I’m not making you uneasy, am I? I assure you, Miss, I mean no harm.
[Though his words imply he trusts her, his tone is slightly suspicious.]
Uneasy--[a slight chuckle here, accompanied by a dismissing wave]
I'm just not used to the attention, that's all.
So, Arthur, were you going anywhere in particular before we started up a conversation? I could show you the way, if you'd like.
… I … see. Excuse me for asking, but what is your trade?
[As he peers closer, she slightly backs off, feeling that if he looks too close he may find out]
Well, I’ll know one way or another, eventually.
[Assuming he’s possibly offended her, he grins reservedly.]
I…
Not right?
[despite her neutral expression, she is getting worried.][She tries for a smile, though it is obviously strained.]
I assure you, I’m very human. Unless my mother lied to me and I am actually adopted.
Well — somewhat. I need to determine a client’s mood before I make a deal with them, after all, but in your case it can’t be anything serious.
[He frowns all the same, peering slightly closer]
Still — I wonder what it could be.
... I ... see. Excuse me for asking, but what is your trade?
[As he peers closer, she slightly backs off, feeling that if he looks too close he may find out]
Well, I'll know one way or another, eventually.
also i drew this 4 u erica
[chuckles beneath his breath]
So I’ve immeasurably been informed. Nevertheless, busyness makes business.
[frowns, gaze briefly examining her]
Oh, it’s nothing much. Amulets sometimes interfere with a person’s aura — though it’s equally likely you might just have a spot of the flu.
[Just nods and pushes a strand of her hair behind her ear]
...Their aura, you say? And you can feel them? What a neat ability.
Oh my, I hope I'm not ill. That would be awful.

"Yes right now." She really wasn’t one to dilly dally.
When the shapes had settled in their eyes, Katya grinned, her eyes moving over them slowly before she could see the words in front of her own coming out, though she doubted Anya could see it. “Yes alright. Good boys.” Slowly she stood, her hands running along the tight corest of her dress. “Looks like we’re to find Ivan. “
She wondered what exactly the glowing eyes meant, but obviously, she wasn't going to get that answer. Damn these magic people and/or her lack of magical ability. "Prince Ivan, you say?" she repeated, image of the tall Russian she'd seen around coming to mind. Hatred for a certain 'ice bitch,' as he certainly liked to call her, a certain history of a hunger for power, and rather obvious love for a certain girl - he should be easily converted. "Let's go, then."
Let's Make A Deal ||moonlightrussian|| ||the-rogue-prince||
"I’m glad you agree with me." Katya said simply, bowing down so she was eye level with the dogs. "If you’d like to come down here with me, we can look for someone right now." She suggested, running her fingers through the dogs fur before their eyes started to glow a bright yellow.
"Be careful not to startle them when they’re like this, they don’t take kindly to it." She warned lightly, her eyes locking with the two glowing orbs as shapes began to form slowly.
"Right now? That'd be marvelous." Finally, some progress on this thing.
When the dogs' eyes started glowing, some shapes forming in their golden orbs, her own eyes widened slightly. That was not a sight you see everyday. This lady probably had a lot more power--actual magic compared to her chemistry--than she had originally thought. "I'll keep that in mind," she commented, waiting to see what would happen next.

"Yes, well, you can have this friend of yours join in with this if you’d like, merge our plans." She suggested with a shrug, her hand pushing through her short cropped hair. Turning towards Anya, she prepared herself to speak.
"This castle is powerful. Very powerful. Whoever holds that power can have the power to hold anything. I think that with you and I, and perhaps a bit of muscle and…..a bit more brains we can get our hands on it. We can have whatever we want and more.” She grinned even wider then, motioning for the two dogs to come to her. “Thoughts?”
None of the ideas were anything new to her, being the exact same thing she had thought upon realizing the castle's potential; it was only logical for her to want to go through with it. Perhaps after Katya told the details of her ideas she would inform Julchen.
"Yes, exactly," she agreed. "After we add a bit more 'muscle' to our side, we could easily take over; of course, we'd have to take the others that could attempt to fight back out of the picture."
Let's Make A Deal ||moonlightrussian|| ||the-rogue-prince||
As the door opened, Flotsam and Jetsam invited themselves in, pushing past the woman without a care leaving Katya facing Anya. “I feel it would be best if we were inside. Never know when there are eager ears about.” She glanced around, knowing that there was magic in the castle walls, and magic within some of the people in said castle. She wouldn’t risk being found out by anyone.
"I have my….spies-" She motioned to the two dogs currently sniffing about Anya’s things carefully. "- looking around for certain people to help me along with a little plan of mine, and they found you and while we’ve met, they think that you would help me quite a lot. So, how does a little power sound to you?" She asked, a wry grin pulling her lips up.
She glanced down at the dogs briefly with a scowl as they sniffed about, but turned a neutral gaze back to Katya. "You do have a point." She moved away from the door, letting the other in and closing the door after her. "If your spies haven't found out yet, I have been plotting a coup of sorts, albeit a slow-progressing one at the moment, with a friend of mine," she responded, walking deeper into her room and casually gesturing to a chair for the other to sit in if she wished. "I suppose that answers your question, no?"
She stopped to face the other once again. "Now, what do you have in mind?"
Let's Make A Deal ||moonlightrussian|| ||the-rogue-prince||
Katya grinned as she pulled away from Flotsam and Jetsam, gingerly rubbing both of their ears. “Yes yes I’ve met her and she’s….perfect." Letting out a laugh she stood, smoothing down the front of her dress she left her room, the dark lights flickering slightly as she shut her door, the two dogs following behind her closely. "Take me to them my lovelies."
As they lead her through the halls, the dogs stopped at a door, scratching at it slowly before they sat, leaving Katya to raise her hand, knocking on the door lightly. “Anya. It’s Katya. I have a proposition for you that I think is too good for you to refuse.”
Anya, disguised as always, had been tidying up the place a bit when she heard scratching noises at her door. For a bit, she merely stared, not sure whether she should wait for it to stop or go out and investigate. Soon after, however, there was a knock and a voice: Katya.
Walking over to open the door, she was soon face to face with the other. "Do you want to come in and talk about it, or are you fine right there?" she asked simply.
[smiles with relief, pushing a hand through his hair]
Oh, that’s reassuring. I was told it was busy, but I haven’t seen many residents yet — hm.
[frowns, sensing something isn’t quite right with her appearance]
You haven’t been around any strange-looking amulets lately, have you?
[nods in understanding]
There are many of us here, but the castle is rather vast... plenty of spaces to be found.
[furrows her brow at the question]
Amulets? Not at all. May I ask why?
