I'm not extremely into pixel art, but sometimes I like to do little pixel doodles for fun... Recently I started working on one of my oc that isn't finished yet (I doubt I will finish it xD)

Both subnautica and outer wilds REALLY were scratching my "I want more games that are about (as a larger part of the story) exploring the remnants of an ancient extraterrestrial civilisation and finding out what happened to it" itch

But I find that I'm itching for more. MOOOORE!!!! If anyone has game recommendations that are exactly about that PLEASE DO TELL!

I need to prepare for the future, because once I'm done with subnautica for good, I just KNOW there's going to be a hole in my heart and I wouldn't know what to do with my life... Same feeling I had after finishing outer wilds XD and I'll keep remembering "ah, back when I first started the game and had no idea about anything that's going to happen..." UUUGHHHHH

Hey so! I started playing Subnautica Below Zero and guess what!

I'M NOT SANE ABOUT AL-AN I'M NOT SANE ABOUT HIM!!!!! I'M SO HAPPY! HIS VOICE?!??!!!????!!?????? HIS VOICE OOOOOO HOS VOICE !!!! This is the greatest day of my life and I pretty much guessed it correctly what's going to happen (related to Architects) in the game before starting to play

Without question, AL-AN landed on my hear me out list immediately. I love him sm

I'd do anything for AL-AN, I am devoted to AL-AN and I will make sure AL-AN is always happy

He's very cute in a strange way! Love his curiosity xD and no, AL-AN, not everything is about control and research... He gets to learn a lot about how humans work! And I get to know a lot about how Architects work! I enjoy the interactions with him A TON!!!!!!!!!!

Got an insane architect lore drop

I was starting to think that before already, but the game has pretty much confirmed it multiple times now that the architects are biomechanical in nature and that's so cool to me!!! Funky cyborg aliens :D

And they can upload their souls/consciousnesses into databases? Yeah, they can practically live forever that way

When I met the sea emperor mother in the primary containment facility, she mentioned the architects were unable to hear her when she tried to speak to them. I guess that implies only fully biological beings are capable of receiving her telepathic messages? The mechanical parts of the architects probably have prevented them from picking up her attempts to communicate with them. Honestly that's so sad, THE CURE WAS RIIIGHT THERE!!! RIIGHT THERE!!!!!!!

I honestly can't wait to get to Below Zero, I'm very close now!!! I NEEEEED TO SEE THEM!!!!

Yesterday when I played Subnautica I was on my way to the thermal & main facility that are both located insanely deep underwater and.

My soul almost left my body when I was trying to sneak past the sea dragons. One of them spotted me and shot a fireball at me AND I PAUSED THE GAME ONE MILLISECOND BEFORE IT HIT ME

My biggest regret was not clipping this moment 😭 it would've made a great "we'll be right back!" meme

Spoilers: I survived. And what makes this funnier is the fact that I absolutely SUCK at utilising the grappling arm on my prawn suit and I got stuck everywhere/moved extremely slowly. I'm surprised I got away at all SJSJSJ

Although I don't know how they look like, I got plenty of rough descriptions without getting spoiled about their actual appearance... So yes, I KNOW they're supposed to be very... "Unique". Let's just put it that way XD AND I LOVE THAT!!( I LOVE THAT!!

Today's Subnautica session with Rainy in a nutshell

Visiting an architect facility in subnautica 800m underwater for the first time I'm shaking in my boots. Wish me luck

How I'll end up if I don't learn to shut up about the Architects for 5 minutes

My current theory about the Architects from Subnautica is that they're most likely still active on the planet. I don't think they're dead or otherwise gone

That theory, right now, is held together by two strings

String one: the radio broadcast message of very obvious alien origin that I received early on in the game. Yeah the broadcasts might be/are (slightly) delayed, but that message in particular seemed fairly recent lore-lise

String two: umm... My feeling told me so? XD

I'm aware since the start of my playthrough that I won't get a glimpse of the Architects until the second game, though I'm pretty sure that the first game will provide me with sufficient information about their status... Very excited to find out more 👀

I don't think they're a "thriving civilisation/society" in the sense that I'll catch them walking around everywhere on the other side of the planet xD for sure not. They're hiding somewhere/staying out of sight and for all I know they might even be under the ice, LOL. That's not too far-fetched, is it? Considering we're exploring the arctic(?) in Below Zero and there's gonna be tons of ice!!1!1!!

Am I hoping and praying that I'll get to meet one of the Architects face-to-face eventually? Absolutely, because for some reason, people LOVE to include ancient races/civilisations in their games only to slap you with "haha they dead." "Haha they gone." No you won't do this to me again >:( YOU WON'T!!!

If we ignore the Outer Wilds DLC here, it's amazing how sweet the Nomai were and probably would've treated the Hearthians with the utmost respect and kindness. Then I look at Subnautica that features humans and the Architects and based on the current knowledge I have about them (which is almost zero) they most likely would grab the first human they see by their leg and drag them into the nearest research facility

I would draw this as meme, though regrettably I don't jnow what the Architects look like and I refuse to look them up. I want to be surprised xF

Introducing my custom Seamoth the Gaylactic

Before you ask how I came up with the name: I made a bunch of jokes with Rainy about galactic yaoi but that's all you really need to know. Thus GAYlactic was born

There's many fish in this ocean that want to die apparently because they keep crashing into my submersible 😭 most of them survived, but so far six unfortunate souls met their end this way (yeah I'm keeping a Gaylactic death counter) because they didn't bother moving out of my path

In this post we will honour and pay our respects to this peculiar Peeper, he was the first of the six to have died to the Gaylactic... Rest in peace...

I'm trying my best to not accidentally kill more fish. IT'S REALLY HARD THOUGH NOT TO HIT SOMETHING... ;;
