Tier list on how easily the homestuck characters could win the festival of termina
Explanation on placements under the cut
Would win easily:
Dirk: works extremely well under stress, good strategist and fighter
Caliborn: very durable and a good fighter, no problem killing others
Gamzee: clown
Eridan: good with firearms, likely has natural durability/strength
Feferi: likely has natural durability/strength. Probably won't kill other contestants but can probably defeat Logic and Rher, might be able to communicate with the old gods?
Damara: strong telekinesis ability, killed Meenah so it can be assumed she is just powerful overall
Kurloz: clown²
Meenah: same as Feferi but without the morality problem or god communication
Lord english: self explanatory
Doc scratch: probably isn't very powerful (puppet limbs) but can absolutely kill the other contestants or join a team and kill them last minute
Bro: same as Dirk but stronger
Jake but old: good with firearms, could probably defeat Logic and Rher
The condence: self explanatory
Can win alone but struggle:
Dave: has combat training, probably won't kill other contestants but could probably kill Logic and Rher if he's determined enough but won't have an easy time doing it
Rose: physically weak but will definitely find a way to utilize the power of the gods, but her lack of physical strength/mental durability will be a problem
Jade: can use firearms, is extremely smart and resourceful, can probably win but not as easily as characters in the upper tier
Roxy: extremely smart, can probably use a gun, but her mental health will hold her back from winning as easily as others
Aradia: strong telekinesis, won't be as troubled by the situation as others, but unlike Damara I think she would have a harder time killing other people
Terezi: good fighting ability, isn't hindered by blindness effects, but also not strong enough to be able to win easily
Vriska: very strong, very selfish, not as strong as the upper tier but should be able to win
Equius: strength-wise he would have no problem winning but his mentality will cause him enough trouble to knock him down a tier
Can win but not alone:
John: can fight well enough to provide value to his team, but not enough to win solo
Jake: very strong but his mental state is too fragile to be able to win solo
Calliope: can probably fight well, but I don't think she will be able to win solo
Sollux: very strong psiioniics but probably not enough to win solo, plus with his mental state he needs some teammates
Nepeta: very strong, but not enough to win solo
Karkat: his fighting abilities suck but he provides enough value to be just good enough to evade the survivor tier
Kanaya: handy with a chainsaw, but not good enough to win solo
Rufioh: his ability to fly is extremely valuable, but I don't think he's strong enough to solo
Porrim: I don't know how well she fights but like Karkat she provides mental support that makes her valuable enough to be on this tier
Aranea: very smart, could be valuable
Dad: can fight well, but not well enough to win solo
Mom: can use a gun, but not strong enough to win solo
John but old: just an older John.
Can survive but not win:
Jane: can cook, but I don't think she's strong enough to be all that valuable as a teammate
Tavros: would be able to survive thanks to his ability to communicate with animals, but not valuable enough as a teammate
Meulin: probably has good enough instincts to survive, but I don't think she's very strong or valuable as a teammate
Latula: I can't think of a reason she won't be able to survive, but she probably isn't strong enough to be valuable as a teammate
Horuss: strong, smart, but not enough redeeming qualities for anyone to team up with him, he can fend for himself just fine though
Jane but old: same as Jane but weaker
Actively detrimental to their team:
Mituna: self explanatory, I love him but he's worse than useless I'm sorry
Kankri: no fighting ability, starts fights 24/7, probably loud, even with Porrim on your team he's still a hazard
Cronus: oh boy. Selfish but without the fighting ability to compensate, would poison everyone's food if he feels like it, can maybe use a gun? Having him on your team would make everyone take sanity damage so it's not even worth checking
