"من يحبك حقاً، سيذكرك في صلاتـه" whoever truly loves you, will mention your name in their prayers
don’t date anyone who isn’t proud of you
The profoundest distances are never geographical.

If you are working on something exciting that you really care about, you don’t have to be pushed. The vision pulls you.

Recovery is terrifying when you don’t know who you are without your sadness.

If there’s no world to live in, one must invent a world and live there.

مآ أجمّل أنْ تصمتْ فيْ ؤجهْ منْ ينتظرْ منِك الخِصَام
وما أجمل أنْ تضحك فيْ وجهْ منْ يُنتظرْ منك البكـاءْ
How beautiful is it to stay silent When someone expects you to be enraged from them. And how beautiful it is to laugh When someone thinks you are going to shed tears.
How long they choose to love you will never be your decision.

Nobody has ever left me just once. They always come back to see how their absence dulled the vibrance in my eyes before disappearing again.
WELL ISN’T THIS THE GODDAMN TRUTH GOD (via aazhxra)
[intro] Welcome to my generation, the boys and girls with crimson red wrists; and necklaces of woven rope. In an effort to be ‘normal’ to fit in to be loved we destroy the foundation for a future a future who does not care for who you were at age 16
[depression] Welcome to my…
I am enough. Maybe sometimes I have to remind myself, and I have to scream it into my pillow. I have to force it down my throat and swallow back the vomit that my loathsome self fights back with… But I am enough. I may not ever be better than that but I sure as hell will never be less, and that is enough for me.

I remember being young, or at least younger than I am now, and being asked what I wanted to be. kids have ambitious minds, we’re taught to dream big. take over a big company, start a business, be more successful than our parents. when I was eight, I wanted to be a librarian because I loved books. when I was 16 I wanted to be a writer because there weren’t any real hours and i could sleep till 12 and eat breakfast at 3pm. when I got to 18, I started getting less ambitious. it happens. when I got to 18, I wanted a 9-5 job. something simpler. something more realistic. when I got to 22, ambition was tippexed out of my dictionary. when I got older, my ambition wilted, but it didn’t mean i got less realistic. All I wanted to be was one of those rulers they gave us at school–shatter proof.
