This is actually a really good perspective and explains why the MCU is the way it is. It is essentially one-off entertainment without the backup of DVD sales (of course Disney being Disney it is still backed up by massive merchandise and spin off sales). The movie is designed to be “disposable”. The rewatch value is low because it’s not intended to be sold on DVD for people to treasure and rewatch every year at Christmas (or whenever) with family. The idea is to generate hype, through manufacturing controversy or teases or gossip. Keeping spoilers under wrap is integral because the rewatch value is negligible. It hinges on surprise or shock (or wtf value) to entice audiences to give up their money to see it in theatres. It is about spectacle, about being loud and colourful and busy, so that for the first 30 minutes after you walk out your senses are still buzzing and you feel like that was worth your $30 or however much. It takes a while for your brain to come back online after the sensory overload to then try to pick apart the plot, and by that stage it doesn’t matter, you’ve already hyped it up to your friends.

And the story or characterisation doesn’t matter because no one is watching that again to care.

Astrocartography and your spouse

Yes yes! I've found Astrocartography to be surprisingly accurate in predicting where you'll meet your future spouse. I tested it on various charts of couples and it seems quite accurate.

For best results, use the Sidereal method.

What to check?

- 1st of all identify the 7th house ruler in your sideral birth chart.

- locate the 7th ruler lines on the astrocartography map. There you could meet you THE ONE.

- also check the lines of the planet in your 7th house .

- check darakarka (spouse indicator)also, cause I saw it in one chart. She met her future spouse in her darakarka line.

- also ,I think Astrocartography is more about revealing where you'll meet your future partner, rather than exactly where they're from. (But It's possible, though, if they happened to be born in that location).Just my theory cause I have seen it in many charts. It's more about 1st meeting.

Glitter is something I’ve seen used in spells quite a bit here on tumblr, so I’d like to offer my beliefs about glitter and it’s purpose in spells and rituals!

Glitter is… well, glittery. It reflects light and makes sparkles. So what happens when you use it in a spell?

It reflects and magnifies auras! It gives potency to energies using color!

The little specks of glitter are like stained glass windows with a mirror inside. Light streams down, hits the glitter, and is refracted back as a very, very tiny burst of colored light and energy. Glitter is good for magnifying auras of spells that are very space-oriented, such as protective jar spells or a candle love spell. You can even put it inside of a clear locket and charm it; the charm will be given a little boost every time the light hits the glitter!

A glitter’s energies will resonate very strongly with it’s physical color, so it’s important to use a color that correctly resonates with your intentions.

Ways to activate a sigil

After you are done charging, and filling your sigil with your intent you must go through the process of activating it. Activation is the process of firing your sigil into the universe along with the act of allowing the sigil to work in your subconscious. There are two types of ways to activate your sigil. These two types of ways are passive, and active sigil activation. Both of these types of ways have their own benefits, and it is important to understand how to use both of them, so that you can pick the right one for the job.

Active Sigil Activation:

In active sigil activation the energy is usually released all at once, or in a very immediate fashion. This type of activation is usually going to be done through the act of destruction of the sigil, so that all the energy that has been charged into it can be released and fired into the universe, and your mind can greatly actively focus on the sigil that has been marked upon your subconscious. This is usually going to be used for such sigils that are used once on one particular thing. This is really good for quick, and fiery manifestation, but it will go out, and try to complete its task, and then burn out rather quickly. This type of method should be used on things that you want done that are pretty direct, and will only need to be impacted once.

Ways to activate active sigils:

Putting the sigil on a piece of paper, and burning it in fire.

Putting the sigil on a piece of paper, and submerging it in water until it dissolves.

Putting the sigil on a piece of paper, and ripping the paper in half.

Drawing the sigil in to the sand at the beach, and letting the sea wash it away.

Drawing the sigil in the air with your energy, and pushing through it in order to destroy it.

Making the sigil out of dust, or powder, and then blowing it away to destroy it.

Making the sigil in your mind, and then imagining it being destroyed to activate it.

Putting the sigil on food then eating it.

Drawing the sigil on a firework, and then set it off.

Drawing the sigil on a balloon, and then pop it.

Drawing the sigil on your body, and then wash it away.

Singing the sigil out loud for all to hear.

Playing a music, or an audio sigil out loud for all to hear.

Place the sigil on a piece of paper, and rip it up.

Draw the sigil on a rock, and throw it in a body of water.

Putting the sigil on a cigarette, and then smoking it.

Write it on a dry erase board, and then erase the sigil.

Take a picture of the sigil, and then delete the image.

Writing it on the condensation of a window, or mirror, and then allowing it to disappear.

Writing it in the air with a sparkler, and allowing it to eventually fade.

Vibrating the sigil with your voice.

Signing the sigil with sign language.

Using a hand tapping sigils.

Passive Sigil Activation:

In passive sigil activation the energy is usually released overtime through a very moderate, and controlled fashion. This method is done through the act of keeping your sigil around, so that it can continue to work, and releases energy when it is needed. This may be continuously releasing energy overtime, or being triggered at a certain point to release energy. This makes for a very Earthy form of manifestation. This allows this sigil not to use all the energy at once, but to continue working for an extended period of time, or only when it is triggered. This also allows the sigil to work in a more dynamic way allowing it to work to fulfill its desire, or intent in a more ever-present, and passive manner. It will be use only when it is needed, making that sigil more versatile in its actions. Passively activated sigils will always be active, unless they have a trigger. You will have to recharge your sigils if you are using this method every once in awhile after they get low on energy, unless they have a source to draw energy from.

Ways to activate Passive Sigils:

Putting the sigil on a piece of paper.

Drawing the sigil on your body.

Getting a tattoo of the sigil on your body

Carving sigils into a candle, and lighting the candle.

Carving sigils into soap, and washing your body with the soap.

Making a sigil amulet.

Writing, or carved the sigils upon wood, or stones.

Drawing it in energy upon something

Placing the sigil as your computer, or phone background.

Posting an image of the sigil online.

Drawing the sigil with chalk on the street, or sidewalk.

Having a piece of clothing with the sigil on it, or sewn into it.

Drawing it in a public place.

Ways to charge a sigil

After you have used one of the sigil methods to create a sigil that encompasses your desire or purpose you need to charge it in order to fill it with energy, while simultaneously thrusting it into the back of your subconscious. In order to charge a sigil one must do an act in order to give energy, and focus to the sigil in order to empower it with your mind, and spirit. There are many acts that you can do in order to charge your sigils, and in order to help you figure out what you could do, I am going to provide a extensive list of charging methods.

Charging methods for sigils:

Pushing energy into the sigil by using energy work.

Meditating intently on the sigil.

Focus on the sigil intensely.

Dancing around the sigil.

Working out with the sigil.

Chanting over the sigil.

Masturbating on to the sigil.

Masturbating while looking into the sigil.

Burning candles around, or on the sigil.

Rubbing blood upon the sigil.

Anointing the sigil with essential oils.

Anointing the sigil with holy water, or any other type of magickal water.

Anointing the sigil with semen.

Spitting on the sigil.

Putting the sigil in the sunlight, or moonlight.

Having the sigil by a crystal grid.

Placing a charged crystal on top of the Sigil.

Looking at the sigil while causing pain to yourself, or another. (not recommended)

Something dying, or being killed near, or around the sigil.

(not recommended)

Submerging the sigil in water.

Having sex around the sigil, on top of the sigil, or while looking at the sigil.

Talking to the sigil as if it was a person, trying to convince it to do it job.

Having people see and/or interact with the sigil.

Speaking about the sigil to other people.

Having the sigil on your person while going through your day, keeping it with you so that it can feed off your energy.

Having the sigil on you while you do something that gets your adrenaline pumping.

Having the sigil near you while you are playing video games.

Focusing on the sigil while being in a intense emotional state.

Asking a higher power to charge the sigil for you.

Praying over the sigil.

Singing over the sigil.

Using the death posture to charge the sigil.

Giving birth over, or near the sigil.

Making contact with the sigil through any form of contact such as tapping touching, or moving.

Place the sigil in front of music speakers, while music is playing.

Allowing the wind to blow the sigil.

Placing the sigil in front of a fan, and allowing its air to blow it.

Breathing on the sigil.

Having the sigil outside in a thunderstorm, storm, or the rain.

Placing your phone on top of the sigil, while your phone is charging.

Placing the sigil underneath your pillow, while you sleep.

Feeling powerful emotions while near the sigil.

Crying on to the sigil.

Placing crystals on top of the sigil.

Reading holy scripture to the sigil.

Saying the names of God to the sigil.

Using a Tibetan singing bowl, or bell near the sigil.

Link sigils to the sigil, so those sigils can charge it.

Walking on top of the sigil.

moving the sigil around with kinetic energy.

Sprinkling herbs and spices on top of the sigil.

Tell it to draw energy from something, or a link it to some other  construct to feed off of.

Tell somebody about the sigil.

Acknowledge the sigils existence.

Placing the sigil somewhere with a lot of negativity, or positive energy.

Placing the sigil at a ley-marker.

Placing the sigil in your underwear, or bra.

Heating up the sigil.

Cooling down the sigil.

Hand Tapping Sigils

This is a sigil method that I have made, and I’d like to call them hand tapping sigils. Hand tapping sigils are sigils that are made from statements of intent, and are acted out through the tapping of certain spots on your fingertips. Certain spots of a finger will correlate to different letters allowing the practitioner to tap out their intention, so that they can send it out into the universe, while also reaffirming their intention in their subconscious. This sigil method is charged through your own energy, and focus, and will be activated and sent out by the act of you doing it. These sigils are versatile, and can be used anywhere without tools, or attracting attention.

1) First, like usual sigils you need to make a statement of intent. I will be using this one as an example.

“I Am Protected”

2) Next you’re going to want to shorten that statement of intent a lot.  hand tapping sigils can get quite complicated, quite fast. So in order to keep it on the simple side we need to only used the letters that really speak to your intention. It is primarily going to be the first letters of every word, or any other letters that you deem usable. It is really up to you what you want to use, but it should end up to be a small amount of letters, so that you can actually perform the hand tapping sigils. Feel free to put the letters in any pattern that you would like in order to make the sigil more personal and unique to you. This is what I ended up with for this statement of intent:

“A I P”

3)  Now that we have our letters we are going to tap them out on our fingers. In order to do this you’re going to need to use the chart below, so that you know the correct position to tap for each letter correspondence. Now you are going to want to put your hands palms facing each other, and in order to tap the letter you are going to push it with your opposite hand, much like you’re using your fingers as a keyboard on the correct position that corresponds to the letter that you want. This would be like if you wanted to tap the letter ‘R’ you would take one of the fingers of your left hand, and touch it to the middle finger middle position, or 'R’ spot in order to tap it. You would do this with every letter left from your statement of intent, so that you can cast your sigil. The letter that is tapped will be the letter receiving the pushing force. This is so letters that are on the same position on the opposite hand are not mistaked for the tapping of one another, especially after a quick succession. This could be used in order to discern things like a 'B’ tap from an 'I’ tap. You would most likely not only tap the sigil out once, but do it multiple times much like if you were chanting silently with your hands. that’s all there really is to hand tapping sigils, and they are simple, but effective tools that can be brought into your working, and could be quite useful from time to time.

5 Types Of Sigils

Desire Sigils:

A desire sigil is a sigil that’s intention is based around a desire. These are one of the most common forms of sigils, and are used by practitioners to manifest their desires upon the universe. To make a desire sigil you will use a statement of intent that explains what you want to happen, so that it can push you towards that goal. Desire sigils would be something like sigils for protection, sigil for prosperity, or sigil to have a good job interview. These sigils will be cast out into the universe, and ingrained in your subconscience in order to carry out what you want to happen. The sigil will be charged, and activated, and will use its energy, and intention to carry out its task. These sigils are very useful, and will help you get what you want.

Name Sigils:

A name sigil is a sigil that’s intention is based around a construct, or an entity’s name. Any type of name can be used to make name sigils. The name just has to be associated with the construct, or entity that you are using it to represent. This could be names such as a first name, a middle name, a last name, a username, a nickname, a magick name, along with many others. These names sigils are used in many ways from being used as taglocks in order to target constructs, or entities, to being used as a form of magical signature to mark ownership. They have also been used to invoke, and evoke entities that a practitioner wants to bring forth, and can even be created as a way to get a hold of certain entities. These sigils will also be connected to anything that holds that name, and can be used to represent, and target any of the other name holders.  Name sigils would be something like name sigils for Jack, name sigil for Machu Picchu, or name sigil for Loki. The sigils will also have the energy of the entity, and constructs that they are made for, and can be used to by a name holder to get more of their own energy, or it can be used by somebody else to gain attributes much like the name holder possesses. These are also great tools in order to ground, and bind servitors, and other Spirits to locations, and objects. Name sigils are a powerful form of sigils that can connect to so many entities and constructs.

Correspondence Sigils:

Correspondence sigils are sigils that use the properties of another construct by invoking that construct. These types of sigils are used to gain the energetic attributes, and metaphysical properties of a specific construct. This would be like making a sigil for fire, so that it could invoke fire energy into your practice, and you could use it to be more creative, powerful, aggressive, and energized, among other things. This could be done with a whole cast of different types of constructs, and could be incredibly useful if used in very creative manners. This could also be used to replace certain energies, and ingredients in spells, and rituals, allowing you to save on materials, and to procure some energy of something you might not have access to. Other examples of Correspondence sigils would be things like a sigil of Pisces, a sigil of lavender, and a sigil of the wolf.

Linking sigils:

Linking sigils are sigils that are connected to each other through an energetic link. These sigils can be helpful when trying to transfer energy from one place to another. They can also be used to create a network of sigils that will be able to connect specific energies together. All sigils are some form of linking sigil and are connected to the other versions of itself, but by making a sigil specifically for the purposes of linking energies together one will be able to create more effective linking sigils. These sigils can also be used as tag locks by placing one where you want the energy to be sent, then charging a different representation of it, so to effectively send the energy to the place you wanted to effect. These can be incredibly helpful for storing, and sending energy, and can allow you to get very creative with your sigil craft.

Mixed Sigils, and combination sigils:

These types of sigils are sigils that hold multiple intents, and mix the energies of two, or more sigils together. These types of sigils can be extremely helpful when you are trying to get something more advanced done, and you need something to do more than one job. In order to create one of these all you need to do is combined the sigils by overlapping them, drawing them next to each other, or creating a unique sigil made up of both of their parts, so that they will be associated together, and their energies can mix allowing you to use both of them at the same time. these sigil can be made up of any other two types of sigils, and can be used in extremely interesting ways when you set your mind to it.
