Michael's message has always been peace and togetherness. Love. It bothers me so much that when I'm trying to practice those things by spending time with thoughts of him and the ways he helped the world, the sense of peace is interrupted by random interjections about the allegations. I'm not sure how people can't see that they're getting played by / playing into a psy op?

There is a way to advocate for victims without speaking with such hatred about a man who isn't here to cause further harm if you actually believe he harmed anyone. And inviting more voices to deny the experiences of said victims.

Even if you believe that he was hiding behind this message of peace, love and healing the world, those are objectively wonderful goals to aspire to. The messenger being less than stellar doesn't make the message wrong. So why are you interrupting the practice of empathy and appreciation with hatred?

That's a rhetorical question because no reason will suffice for me. For me, Michael represents peace and love. And I live my life by those ideals and because of those ideals, I have the grace to extend to victims the respect of encouraging them to speak their truth. I just want peace. I want people to be able to speak to one another with kindness and respect.

I was falling asleep while writing this so please forgive me if something doesn't make sense.
