I’m reading another book about Hecate but this one, so far, is less about her history and influences through history and more on a specific type of magic associated with her. Which isn’t a bad thing. I guess I was just surprised since the last two books I read were like an introduction to her.

I picked another book from the humble bundles I bought and I have no idea what the fuck this guy is saying. Like, I understand the words individually, but together? The introduction made no sense, the preface made a little more sense??? I’m going to keep reading and give this a decent shot, but what the fuck, lol.

I am 50 pages in and I still have no idea what the fuck this guy is talking about. It’s like he’s just spouting facts so he sounds smart. I don’t think I can sit through 403 pages of this.

Finished the book about Hekate. Do I immediately start this other one? I think I’ll read something else in between. I don’t want to get too overwhelmed and flustered.

So I’ve been debating on whether to have an altar or not and I think using this treasure chest would be great for a mini one!

Originally I had gotten one from my grandmother, but it was ruined in a flood. I was extremely lucky to find this one which is the exact same thing.

I think having that sentimental value adds to it and now I’ve got a neat place to put my crow skull.

I had a dream where I was in a fancy candy store that for some reason had Sailor Moon art books. So I decided to look for the Materials Collection. If you don’t know, the Materials Collection is the rarest and hardest to find of all the SM art books. There are sketches, notes, preliminary designs, the really cool unfinished stuff you never really see.

Anyway, I was getting more and more disappointed in lack of finding really anything. There was some SM stuff, but things I all ready had.

What I took from this dream is that maybe I’m looking for whatever it is in the wrong places? Like I’m trying to be more comfortable with my witch stuff so maybe where I’m looking isn’t where I should be?

Ooooooh stuff for an altar looks really cool but I don’t have the space. I also feel silly buying something when I don’t really have anyone to dedicate the altar to?

I suppose I don’t need a deity to have an altar, but right now it feels a little unnecessary to have one? If I do maybe I should look into those cute mini ones or try to make my own.

Honestly, I see someone selling crystals and herbs and my bird brain immediately goes ‘I want the shiny and the nice smelly.’

I wonder if it is a calling from Hekate or from the Morrigan. Lately I’ve been feeling a pull, a need to do something. Not sure what, but I think reading all these humble bundled witch books is a good start.

I just seem to be attracted towards triplicate goddesses. Sure, it’s just the Morrigan and Hekate but it’s weird that it happened twice, lol.
