angie:
The intimacy of it all was grounding, with all they’d dealt with it didn’t even feel like they went years without communicating or fought a few weeks ago, none of it seemed to exist. Angie was going through a mind loop, she’d never seen his place and now he was feeding and homing her and she felt an overwhelming amount of appreciation for him, she cursed not having the money to give him for all this trouble or even getting him expensive paints. Squeezing his arm she smiled softly shuffling her bags she had from earlier into the other hand, “Cant believe you’re the one bailing me out now, normally it’s the opposite…also why do you know the officers names?” She asked raising an eyebrow at him.
It was relieving to hear her changing the subject and if he had to talk about something embarrassing to make her get her mind off the things going on, he would. Laughing as they walked, he answered, "You really think my days running from cops stopped in high school? I was literally running from them the day we ran back into each other." The memory of it seemed a lot more embarrassing now than it did while it was happening. "I promise its never been for anything major. I just like to make statements with my street art sometimes and some of those times I get caught. I'm also use to having to fill out bail paperwork on the regular, considering I've had to bail my friend out a few times. I'm surprised they don't just have my credit card on file at this point."
