im thinking about biggerler ball again... genuinely such a fun event. i loved the community around it and how we were all making our own ball outfits and making little side stories.

WAITTT THAT REMINDS ME I STILL HAVE THESE OLD SKETCHES

I remember I was thinking about how I wanted the color palette to be in cool blues (like what I did here) to contrast with the bright and warm yellow lighting of the ballroom!

With that last sketch having said yellow lighting shining in from off-screen, as if someone (likely Biggerler or his mother) had opened a door. Turning those warm colors usually associated with comfort into a source of fear >:D

I also had an idea for a lineless drawing showing off more of that visual contrast, with the warmly-lit ballroom coming an eye-shaped spotlight! Something something Biggerler crafting a perfectly-maintained scene under his watchful eye to distract people from the surrounding darkness

And while it's less about the ball specifically and more about the AU with Artic and Avie in general, I've got these fun little scenes in my head of the two of em hitting the town and getting a bite to eat, with their cute little friendship bracelets and everything :3

Ooh and there's a scene in my head of them cooking with thneeds!

What if Artic's been going through the painstaking effort of scouring the web for photos of the recipes featured in the Onceler's official thneed cookbook, always outpaced by Thneed Inc. mods deleting those photos and banning users... Only to find out that Avie already owns a copy of the book gksdfk

First Off: omg iiboronii youre gonna make me cry AUGHH. You guys were/are the best and I’m so happy to have made such cool buddies with my silly little Onceler AU story like hello. When I made him I didn’t think I’d ever like ACTUALLY get such cool people to interact with him and me? Seeing your guys’ reblogs and art and theories was definitely the highlight of my summer and it made staying up crazy late to draw the updates so worth it HEHE

Second: ARTIC THE ART OMG!?!? I’m reading all the stuff you said here and I’m geeking out LIKE HELLO EYE SHAPED SPOTLIGHT I GASPED. It’s canon now cause I said so yep yep mhm. Artic and Avie being the duo ever at the buffet yep yep mhm.
