i’m norah! 

i love music. literally. i’m practically a hippy. it’s rlly surprising that i’m not in the 70s and living a hippy life yet but anyways some of my favourite musicians: the beatles, david bowie, lizzy mcalpine, elton john, queen, catie turner, the lumineers, nick cave, simon & garfunkel, taylor swift, finneas

i’m also a big film geek!! some films i like: dead poets society, good will hunting, rocketman, harry potter, notting hill, perks of being a wallflower, about time (literally any hugh grant film sign me up)

i’m not much of a tv shows person but: the politician, atypical, unorthodox, space force

i’m obsessed with harry potter but ESPECIALLY with marauders and atyd

i’m jewish and my first language is hebrew!! 

my aesthetic is a mix of dark academia, 70s vintage hippy, and whatever you call the david bowie-t rex-queen glam rock aesthetic

marauders as my favourite autumn feelings

remus: walking down streets and feeling, hearing the crunch of leaves under your feet. cool breeze ruffling through your hair. finally being able to pull out your favourite sweaters from the depths of your closet and their warmth rubbing against your skin. hot coffee against your tongue, the heat from the cup radiating against your hand. constantly being in a state of rush. 

sirius: biking around the city with your friends. desperately trying to hold onto the lingering summer heat. falling into piles of leaves on the ground and making “snow” angels in them. the excitement of planning your halloween costume and even more excitement from halloween itself. huddling with friends just for warmth. succumbing to early sunsets. 

james: walking through parks with friends, amazement of the leaves changing from green to yellow to orange to red. drinking pumpkin spice lattes more than humanely allowed. the welcoming smell of cinnamon and oranges. buying halloween decorations and arranging them on your front yard. wearing beanies.

lily: the pure vibes of bookshops in the autumn. sitting alone in a cafe, by the window, poetry in your hand and watching the red leaves outside. walking in the rain and having a clear umbrella to watch the raindrops trace down it. turtlenecks under dresses. jazz music. collecting pumpkins and arranging them on your porch. pressing leaves in your books to preserve them.

peter: warm, sweet drinks. the taste of caramel on your tongue. going to corn mazes with your friends and getting lost inside. sitting by a campfire, your only source of warmth the blanket around your shoulders and the minimal heat from the fire itself. getting to wear your fun socks.

i've been super busy this summer with traveling and university applications, and i haven’t had as much time to be on here. i don’t think that’ll change with the school year coming up bc it’s my final year of high school and it’s supposed to be very very hectic, but i promise i'll try getting to posting stuff whenever i can.

imagine sirius and remus spending their summers together at remus’s household in wales. days spent in their bathing suits, buying cold lemonade and fish and chips from the local café and eating it on the beach, their hours passing just sitting on the beach talking with each other and reading literature. sometimes they would go to the local bookshop and buy some poetry collections or plays and enact them on the beach too. and on particularly hot days, swimming in the cool water and chasing each other on the sand. nights spend going to late-night showings of films at the local cinema, and when the cinema closes, they wander around the city until they’re so tired that they can’t keep their eyes open anymore. then, they sneak home and climb onto the roof and into remus’s bedroom. sometimes even being so exhausted that they fall asleep on the roof under night stars, and waking up at sunrise to morning breeze and the sound of birds. sometimes sleeping until 1pm and repeating the cycle. anyways this is my aesthetic and in this essay i will
