Those who were there when the old texts were written might remember a little toon I animated for a cakestation animation contest. Well this is the curtain call! The final one was announced and I decided to participate. For most, the deadline was the 17th. But because of my schedule I only had until the 15th. So here's the deal. I FAILED. Completely didn't even animate the prompt oops. Truth is, I did end up with some cool segments and maybe something of a concept/pitch? Its about this guy named Icarus who goes on a WACKY adventure!!! Keep in mind this is literally not finished so do not expect the world, just thought I'd share what work I did get done. Interjection 1: Here, Icarus would have crashed into a soldier before starting this big blast of choreography! Interjection 2: Exploding the cannon would have created a big biggg hole for icarus to jump into. They would find themselves in a hallway where a SUPER AXE SOLDIER would try once more to stop them. Interjection 3: After taking out that brainiac, Icarus would land one final drop kick sending him flying out of the hall and into the bomb room. There the PROMPT WOULD FINALLY BE MET. Icarus walks forward slowly before realizing !!! the person who started the nuke timer is HIS FUTURE SELF??? They would have absolutely boxed, but I ran out of time. Only have a few quick exchanges. Conclusion- So yeah, nothing much. I really appreciate you taking the time to watch! Expect more (and finished) cartoons in the future.
