The terms of Miss Holloway’s pact

In Nerdy Prudes Must Die, we saw that to make a pact with the Lords In Black, you have to give up the thing you cherish the most. In Killer Track, Miss Holloway confirms that the reason no one can ever remember after she tells them about her past, is that she made some sort of deal.

In this image from The Black Book, we see someone who looks suspiciously like Miss Holloway performing some sort of ritual with five cloaked figures who are most likely the Lords in Black. I think it’s extremely likely that Miss Holloway made a deal with the Lords in Black for her immortality. There’s a lot of evidence, including Casey asking for her autograph in The Witch in the Web, that Miss Holloway was a famous musician in the past. If she’s drawn to fame and performance, it’s very plausible that what she cherishes most is being remembered. I think that’s what she gave up to the Lords in Black in exchange for her immortality: being remembered. That’s why people forget about her past after she tells them, and forget who she is as soon as she takes on a new identity.
