traitors s4 ep12 thoughts

- AYYYYYY THAT'S MY TRAITORSSSSS NOT ONLY THE FIRST DUO TRAITORS WIN BUT THE FIRST FEMALE TRAITOR WIN??

- not to get all parasocial but i really didn't see stephen banishing rachel at the last minute.

- at a certain point you could very much tell that stephen was just causing tension during voting for the love of the game, i'm proud to say my faith in their alliance very rarely wavered.

- and no hate to jack and faraaz but i do love to see the woman and gay man win against the two straight men.

- maybe it's because i'm a viewer but if i were jack i think i would've clocked it as soon as they voted me out. but also maybe it's because it would've been very funny to watch.

- it did result in a very funny traitors reveal on uncloaked of faraaz being the energetic one for once.

- i mean even if rachel and stephen did turn on each other they were being very mutually respectful about it.

- seeing jack in the middle of the whole stephen-jade and rachel-faraaz theory situation was quite funny.

- i was thinking that mission seemed quite mundane compared to the other final missions we've seen. until the whole ‘walking down the steep dam’ thing. and then the helicopter thing.

- and despite rachel's warnings no one threw up this time.

- anyway loved this season a lot, good craic, good cast, like everyone just seemed so friendly compared to the last one and i think this is the first time (not counting celebrity traitors) that the people i really liked actually won.

traitors s4 ep11 thoughts

- oh what the HELLLL can we have a season where the really good female traitor actually makes it to the final please.

- roxy me too girl i also want stephen and rachel to make it to the final.

- very glad they're still keeping their promise but every time they interacted i felt like i could cut the tension with a knife.

- and i fully didn't expect rachel to be the first to target the other traitor given that stephen spent a lot of his on-screen time planting little rachel shaped seeds.

- every time stephen turned his slate around i could almost hear the uk-wide sigh of relief.

- i mean unfortunately even if james does get banished tonight i don't think we're seeing both traitors making it to the fire pit.

- bro the missions this season are causing more casualties than anything we've seen before. and for some reason it's only targeting the curly brown haired men.

- very glad claudia revealed the roxy-judy connection at breakfast. i feel they needed that surprise and i would've been very disappointed if i didn't get to see their reactions.

- right so i get stephen's “taking the emotion out of the game” was probably about roxy but he better not be soft-launching betraying rachel.

- oh god they've entered the insufferable “a traitor is keeping me in this game” phase.

- kind of a blessing in disguise that matty went out when he did because i would've been heartbroken to see him not get recruited.

- probably the most words i've heard faraaz say at once outside of the confessionals and girl i'm nervous.

- there's always one guy per season who has a wee menty b after the round table (and rightfully so) and it makes me feel bad for them every time. (freddie, harry after jonny)

- and honestly i was reacting to that round table alongside stephen because the shade was insane.

- but i did love that we got a classic claudia outburst. saw a traitors bingo on instagram and i think they're close to getting a full card.

- obsessed with the somewhat equal amount of girls guys and gays that were left in the game for most of that episode. maybe if we're lucky we'll get one of each in the final.

- there are so many good stills from that mission that i'm considering screenshotting and sharing here because that whole mission was so funny.

- and seeing them all run around in a playground-esque environment in the scottish downpour was rather nostalgic.

- must admit i had a wee giggle at stephen saying matty had managed to “swing him the other way.”

traitors s4 ep9 thoughts

- as SOON as jessie didn't walk through the door you could feel the mood change. but also she was too locked in on stephen it had to be one or the other.

- once again is it too much to ask to give matt some turret time?

- love that they didn't recycle the chess mission for a third time and instead made it ever so slightly different.

- but seeing everyone in the boxes try to put their heads to the walls with all the spooky sound effects playing really made it look like they were gonna clock the traitors.

- glad they do the dinner because at a certain point in the series i need to be kept in check and reminded that people are only annoying because they're playing the game.

- stephen's outfit once again had me gagged. if you need another queer scottish person to idolise just put me on the next season.

- i feel like rachel would be a good choice for the double vote because she could defend it by saying the traitors might view her as being confidently wrong.

- also obsessed with her stirring shit at breakfast just for the love of the game.

- maybe it's a good thing jessie was murdered this episode because if she was at the table for the ellie/ross reveal i fear we would have lost her.

- can't tell if rachel's “don't cry” to ellie at the round table was supposed to be comforting or like some kind of spell/manifestation.

- okay i need to stop saying things on this app last year i started talking about how much i loved dan and he was out the next episode. keep stephen in this game pretty please.

- maybe too many requests at this point but i also need matty to get seduced. it was probably a good idea they didn't do it tonight because a lot of people are voicing very different opinions, but even if he gets thrown under the bus i need to see him up in that turret with his little cloak just once.

- not sure if they're going to kill jessie as after the mother of all double bluffs (jonathan/ruth), it seems players are maybe starting to think of the murders differently.

- aww so nice of rachel to put random heat on faraaz in case he felt lonely being the only person no one's questioned.

- that bloody (pun not intended) infamous cabin strikes again. we're yet to have an iconic singing mission but stephen jumping out of his seat at absolutely everything including the hand from the grave was cracking me up. saying that as if i wouldn't have done the same.

- by all means vote james but if anything the shield is pointing towards him NOT being a traitor, surely if you were one you'd want to be very vocal about having a shield.

- dare i say i unfortunately won't be missing sam or adam much after this episode. watching uncloaked i realised they're basically carbon copies of the same guy. and then sam is a carbon copy of ed gamble of course.

- oh and stephen's outfit tonight was TEA.

- rachel has been going THROUGH it, i'd be surprised if the heat is ever off her from here on out, but i suppose stephen has managed it.

- starting to wonder how many of harriet's one-liners were rehearsed in the mirror before walking into that confessional.

- and that “sacrifice” is definitely going to be in vain, i appreciate how many people are defending rachel. i'd feel bad for harriet but she did start getting a bit evil this episode.

- i actually need matty to survive the next episode i don't even care if the traitors are planning on throwing him under the bus, i want to see his proposal being played out.

- even if they try to kill jessie and she tells everyone the next day (not actually sure how the murder works if you target someone with a shield), matty will hopefully know they're following through.

- i thought james' shield was going to be more of an issue but it took him less than an hour to tell about half the castle.

- maybe i'm gullible but i think i believe rachel's fbi thing. i don't know i just think i've heard/read it somewhere before and the way she was talking about it after the round table sold me.

- my own traitors-esque lore drop is that i know one of the assistant producers, and before this season aired she told me it was the best one yet and honestly i see it. the drama this year is unmatched.

traitors s4 ep6 thoughts

- i've gone through lots of different stages of talking about matthew, first i didn't know him, then i found out we have mutual connections, and after this episode i'm obsessed.

- the fairest of them all trying to strike a fair deal with the traitors and i will be DELIGHTED if they follow through.

- thank goodness stephen and rachel are in the clear now (save for harriet's suspicion), stephen crying after voting fiona actually made me want to hug him through the screen.

- looking back on it there was definitely something very suspicious about fiona completely disregarding her ditzy persona and going headfirst for rachel.

- however i can't tell if fiona changing her vote from rachel at the last second is now cause for suspicion around her

- might be evil but i love a mission where things get personal, although i would be fuming if i was ellie knowing that i had a secret connection (especially if the audience isn't even surprised) and being voted blandest.

- and finally i can freely love jessie now that she isn't suspecting stephen, but if the traitors go through with their plan i fear it might be short-lived.

- i have to admit i do feel kind of bad for sam, he started out so confident about judy and now he's being voted the most arrogant, being voted period, and being picked last twice in one week.

- if i had a nickel for every time there was a group (a clique perhaps) on traitors uk where three people shared the same first letter of their names and one person didn't i'd have two nickels. which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

- i do love what fiona said in her banishment because whenever an older woman comes on the show they come here just to have a good time and i think that's something a lot of contestants forget to do, especially last season.

- OKAY TRAITOR-ON-TRAITOR VIOLENCE. THE TURRET IS NO LONGER A SAFE SPACE.

- stephen is GOBSMACKED but at least the heat is off him… i suppose…?

- fiona wasn't even THERE for their promise (which i still fully believe in) so who is he going to side with? will fiona try to convince him that rachel will turn on him??

- for the record i don't even think it was a weird thing for rachel to be telling people, like surely the other faithfuls could tell they were friends?

- reece oh my goodness i feel so bad for him now. being nice when you're clearly under fire is never going to work out.

- although i really hoped maz would come back because i needed him to survive another shortlist.

- amanda's role as a detective being highlighted for how skilled she is even though she's been gunning head-first (incorrectly) for jade was very funny to me. if i were jade i'd be STRESSING.

- chests of chance getting another appearance once they made their debut everyone just wants them back. thinking they should change the shtick every time they reappear. dice of destiny? boxes of banishment? perhaps a flip-flop of fate? (had to get that out of my system i'm so sorry).

- also fiona's “i can't get you out of my head” and “i want you desperately [to be a traitor]” at the round table was giving me flashbacks to joe marler and his many situationships.

- watching uncloaked and hearing amanda say she was only going for jade because she was unfortunate enough to be the first person she saw is perhaps a tad concerning. love amanda but bear in mind she was ACTUALLY a detective.

traitors s4 ep4 thoughts

- of COURSE it's fiona (proud of myself for predicting that). a new camp icon has entered the scottish highlands.

- speaking of which why am i feeling almost maternal over stephen he always looks so nervous at round tables and seeing him in his little cage just hurt my heart honestly.

- also discovered i know people who know matthew so he's finally starting to stand out more.

- early round table was veryy interesting the theories coming up were a lot more surprising seeing as they didn't have as much time to discuss in the castle.

- thank god reece forgot about the family tree thing because stephen was stressing me out by bringing that up.

- poor ross i think he was making some good points in his defence but the phrasing of it was making him look quite suspicious.

- however a classic case of traitors unconscious bias was definitely at play here. are we surprised at this point.

- i've seen too much evidence to be surprised about ross and ellie, after the round table i was just waiting for the reveal.

- can't tell if fiona is stressing me out or not like do the other traitors trust her? does she trust them? is her ditzy façade going to be called out?

- as ed said on uncloaked, maz being concerned about being on the murder shortlist after unknowingly being on it every other night is so funny. queen you are stronger than you know.

traitors s4 ep3 thoughts

- just call me rachel because i too am delighted that hugo's gone. you could tell from the start that she didn't trust him which is fair enough he was definitely serving first traitor out/throwing his fellow traitors under the bus.

- classic traitors move to have us wait nearly a week to find out who the secret traitor is, i'm currently thinking either fiona, sam or maybe ellie based on their behaviour in their talking heads, but i wouldn't mind it being someone else based on shock factor alone.

- hoping it's matt (matty? matthew?) because whenever he shows up i'm reminded that he's actually in the game.

- i'd be shocked if they don't kill reece because that would stop their worry of him remembering them at the family tree.

- so obsessed with the james trying to draw attention to roxy at the round table (when she absolutely didn't need it) and then her immediately going after him.

- also obsessed with harriet using her own secret barrister abilities to get hugo out.

- ALSO obsessed with the mention of there being “no detectives” at breakfast and the immediate pan to amanda.

- mission was some good old classic traitors fun, however if i was reece watching this back and seeing how many times i mentioned the shield and THEN seeing adam comment on it i'd be slightly embarrassed to say the least.

- faraaz absolutely serving face in his first painting was cracking me up.

- “ross is being pinned” jade honey i don't think that was the right way to phrase that.

- reece lowkey becoming a main character (probably means he's out soon) because that sass at the table is exactly what i like to see in this game.

- also “rees.” that's it that's the comment.

traitors s4 ep2 thoughts

- gosh this secret traitor REALLY hates maz.

- and maybe even hates the traitors themselves because either it was a complete coincidence or they nominated ben because of the conversation in the library.

- it would be a good play if there were less people as they could pass it off as ‘no traitor would take the risk of killing him’ but there has been a lot of double bluff talk so far.

- the roles of each traitor has become increasingly obvious with each season, especially with the celebrities, one being a leader, one being a more silent but stronger player and one being a fun comic relief — and it's refreshing seeing rachel fall into the leader role so far.

- it's sort of a good thing that judy was banished because otherwise they'd be clocking roxy left and right.

- this secret traitor thing is making the banishments a lot more suspenseful, and personally i'm enjoying it a lot. still don't have a strong idea about who it might be, but it's fun being one of the faithful this time.

- it also gives the traitors slightly more safety, as now they have someone they need to hunt down too which helps them blend in better with the faithfuls.

- no clue why the people who got on the thrones did that initially, surely they would know that they'd be kicked off before the end and it'd be more beneficial to have slightly smaller people on the thrones.

- more people have been standing out to me this episode but there are definitely a few that keep popping up and i have no idea who they are.

traitors s4 ep1 thoughts (woohoo!)

- right off the bat my thoughts about the traitors: LOVE stephen (lots of scottish rep this season), love rachel, and i felt quite indifferent towards hugo in comparison but i think he's growing on me.

- possible flaws could be that hugo either throws the traitors under the bus or vice versa, and it seems like the lack of power might be his downfall.

- the secret traitor thing is something i kind of predicted before starting this season and i know a lot of people wanted it, but the traitors (hug-in-the-name-but-put-a-dagger-in-your-back to be specific) don't seem as pleased.

- it very much could be judy, as there was a bit of a linda head turn at the start, but i don't think she's lasting very long if so unfortunately.

- which also explains why her and roxy's relationship was revealed so early (however, it could also be because it's very obvious).

- wish i could voice more opinions but half of the contestants are just the same guy.

- thank GOD there aren't any convoluted cover-ups this season, the barrister thing actually makes somewhat sense.

- maybe i wouldn't last very long in traitors but i don't really see what the issue is with ross and netty knowing each other beforehand. i guess other contestants could be a bit iffy about the possible alliance but if they (allegedly) haven't seen each other in 10-15 years i don't imagine they're the closest.

- i say allegedly because after watching uncloaked i do see minah's suspicions about ross and netty maybe knowing each other better than they're letting on.

maybe it was the intensity of the moment but the best thing to come out of stranger things s5 ep6 was jonathan saying steve's “six little nuggets” were like a happy meal.

on the OTHER hand the worst part of that episode was by far max and holly just standing in between worlds for WAY longer than needed. where's the sense of urgency? were you not in that same situation years ago and discovered it was incredibly TIME SENSITIVE??
