Robin To The Wild

HEY EVERYONE, the moment has finally come to reveal to you all my brand new, traditionally drawn comic

"Robin To The Wild"!!!!!! It took FOREVER but all that hard work finally paid off! My inspiration behind making this comic in particular was the idea of getting away from drawing on an iPad and make something more "real" (like on paper and with real ink esc)

Then the idea of a cat working at a job and yearning for a more natural way of life came about. Find where you belong and learn to love yourself kinda thing. Also my love for my own two cats Marcy and Gerri fueled my motivation :3 A lot of the writing came out super naturally, as in things just kinda feel into place.

For example the cruise part was inspired by the fact me and my sister are actually going on one this summer!!!!

Also the this comics name was directly taken from the Mother Mother song "To The Wild". MM is my personal favorite band (as you probably already know lol) so that name was a no brainer ha ha!!! Anyways I REALLY HOPE YOU LIKE THIS, took a lot of time and effort.

Hey everyone, just wanted to come on here and say l've decided to re-draw both of my one page comic zines. Not because the originals were bad, but because I wanted to re draw them using real ink and pencils. Have a real physical version as the original instead of it being only digital. (I still like the digital version but you know I also just like the way this version looks more than the OG. More "full" and natural I guess idk. Anyways I hope you all enjoy! And happy pride!!!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to come on here and finally announce that l've decided to FINALLY start up on a comic about these two clowns I drew last year. It's called Krinkle and DoorNobs! I haven't decided an official plot but maybe it's like they both work at the same circus but they have a one sided friendship. Shenanigans ensue esc.

Or like maybe they hate each other, one of them wants to do something different as his act, and a fight breaks out and he leaves the circus after his new act ends up being way more successful then his old one. I dunno I haven't picked a proper plot other than I ADORE these lil guys and wanna make a story about them soon! I'll keep everyone updated when I decide more of what to do with it!

Anyways happy pride everyone, remember you are loved no matter what!!!!

SEA ★ ZINE!!!!

Happy international ocean day everyone!!! To celebrate I made a lil one page zine! I made it in about a week. I originally drew it digitally and then printed it out and drew over it with a 3 point micron!!! I only gave myself a week to draw this because me and my sister are going on a cruise!!!! (Made a reference to that in my new comic :) It was really hard to decide what animals to ad to this but I think I made the right choices ha ha!!!

Drawn between May 30th to June 5 :D Anyways I’m gonna try to open some kind of shop (maybe Etsy) to sell physical copies of my work, so look forward to that! Ether that or you can DM me if you want a copy! I will say that the physical copies came out a lil weird, like some of shading I did with pencils appear really light and ghostly ha ha

Some lil Mother Mother doodles from today cause well...it's Mother's Day! Mother Mother is my personal favorite band so it's always super fun drawing MM related stuff ha ha. First 3 were done today while the fourth and fifth slide were school projects! (Yes I have not 1 but 2 MM related school project! (a) what can I say, this band is as close to my heart as a band can possibly be. I love them with all my heart and will continue to forever and ever!

Hey everyone just wanted to come on here and announce that for the past few weeks I’ve been working on a new traditionally drawn comic called Robin To The Wild! It’s about a cat named robin who yearns for the outside world while working a stressful office job where she’s overworked.

(Inspired by the idea of returning to the wild or finding where you truly belong) (and also me returning to more traditional ways of drawing / not using any computers esc)

The original idea for this was conceived almost a year ago but I never got around to actually making it….UNTIL NOW!!!! There isn’t an official release date but it WILL be coming out this month!!!! Oh and the name is a reference to the Mother Mother song To The Wild.

Mother Mother is my personal favorite band so I couldn’t NOT name it that ha ha!!! And Robin is a very springy name.

Dinosaur Dream - A drawing I did based on my own dinosaur obsessed childhood!

I made sure to add as much things personal things as I possibly could. For example as kid I had one of those fish lamps as well as a shark jaw I kept on top of my desk. I also had a SHIT TON of Dinosaur toys and books (still have them all today!!!)

Also another source of inspiration I had while making this was the dinosaur poster from the 80s I have up in my room right now ha ha.

April Fools by The Scary Jokes turns 10 TODAY!!! This album (and The Scary Jokes in general) is really special to me. I adore this guy and have drawn him several times before, I mean he’s just SO MUCH FUN TO DRAW AHHHH!!!!! Anyways please go listen to TSJ they’re great!!! Here’s the bandcamp link!

Truck Stop Tiger (or gas station tiger) I spent almost a m onth on! I don’t usually have an idea to draw something based on a song, but I’ve been listening to a lot of ROAR recently and the song Truck Stop Tiger is definitely one of my favorites!

It’s a very depressing song based on a real place (a tiger roadside attraction thingy). Anyways I had an absolute blast drawing this lil guy! Spent literally forever deciding all the colors ha ha! Anyways if you haven’t already PLEASE go listen to ROAR! Absolutely adore that guy!
