Thank you to @lupandisims for tagging me! I can definitely tell my sims are mine by the lips (they all are basically a variation of the same shape, and downturned corners if that makes sense)! I can also see a lot of similarity in the jaw and chin, which is crazy because I never really think about that (habit Iguess lol)! But this was super fun I had a lot of fun looking at all of them up close again!

On the surface it seems as if Jarrod and Stella Smallwood have taken over the parenting role from their infamous daughter Harper. But, behind the scenes there is a lot more going on than meets the eye.

Stella: Well, what did she say?

Jarrod: Well, she changed her name. I got her voicemail the fist time. And when she answered, she told me she wasn’t going to come get them. She also gave no information into why she left them in the first place.

Stella: Oh. Well, I guess we are just going to raise these kids, and give them the best life. Because they deserve that. 

Jarrod: Exactly, we got this sweetheart. Also, I don’t know if I should tell you this because I don’t want to freak you out.

Stella: Well now you have to tell me.

Jarrod: I’m pretty sure I heard a scream in the background of Harper’s call, right before she hung up. And she said she had better things to be doing than talking to me or caring for her children.

Stella: Jarrod, that is serious. She’s acted strange ever since she met him. I don’t like it.

Jarrod: I know, me either. I’ve never liked him. I think we should look into his life and see what he could have gotten Stella int.

Stella: You’re right. I’ll see who I can contact to dig into his life. And, one more thing. We should never tell Kurtis or Mallory about this, for their protection.

Jarrod: I agree. I love you sweetheart.

Jarrod: Well I am glad that you answered so I know you’re okay. But, we need to talk about Kurtis and Mallory. These kids, they are yours. And while your mother and I have always been open to watching them, raising them was never part of that agreement. Especially without you telling us first. You left two toddlers out in the cold, on their own!

Harper: So what do you want me to do?

Jarrod: Come get your kids and tell me why you abandoned them and ran in the first place!

Harper: Yeah...I can’t do either of those things. And can we wrap up this call, I have so many better things I could be doing.

*muffled in the background* Harper you’re missing all the fun! *A slight scream is heard in the distance of the ca;;*

Jarrod: Harper! What was that? You know what, I’m sure I’ll figure it out eventually. You could never avoid trouble for too long, and I always found out about it. You are a shame Harper. I’ll happily raise your children with the love they deserve. Don’t even bother trying to call back or show up for them. You lost that privilege. Goodbye.

Jarrod: Oh boy. I can’t believe I just lost my daughter. But I gained two new children. It’ll be okay Jarrod, you got this.

Stella: Jarrod what are we supposed to do? We cannot raise twins, we are retired!

Jarrod: We will raise them as our own, and we will not give up on them. Just like they did, the moment they decided to run.

Stella: Do not raise your voice at me, you will call her and tell her to come get HER children, as WE will not have them...Wh-What, Jarrod where are you going?!

Jarrod: I am going to get MY grandchildren to take them with me to raise them, with someone who wants them. Unlike you do and unlike they did. We cannot give these children into the arms of people who abandon them at any chance they get. And I will call her and find out what happened to her, AFTER I file the paperwork to make Mallory and Kurtis my children, or should I say ours?

Stella: Of course you should say ours, and of course we should raise them, they deserve the world.

Story: Cali Quinn is 25 and from the quiet, secluded neighborhood of Windslar in Windenburg. She is the oldest of two children and besides that was only ever surrounded by the small population of her neighborhood. Cali is very outgoing so she had a lot of friends growing up and was always “the popular” girl. So much so that she ended up dating the big jock of the school all through high school. Cali was head over heals in love with this boy and was positive she was going to spend the rest of her life with him. So positive, she even started looking at wedding dresses. That was all until her world came crashing down. She came home from her work as a kindergarten teacher early, to find her long-time boyfriend with another woman. And to make matters worse, her younger sister. Heart-broken and angry, Cali stormed out and decided to change her life. She dyed her hair back to its natural color, changed her style, and picked up everything and moved to the livelier part of Windenburg. Finally ready to get back into the world of romance, Cali saw Blake and read his story and just knew she had to meet him and give him a hug.

Fun Facts

Although Cali was seen as the poplar girl throughout her life, she is actually a geek and love Voidcritters, Space, ans she’s an undefeated chess player.

Cali is a natural red head, but after getting teased in elementary school, she dyed it blonde for a majority of her life

After Cali left her hometown, her parents retired and moved to Granite Falls, she misses them everyday

Cali is extremely outgoing and loves to talk to everyone, some people find her energy a bit off-putting, because she is so full on right away

Cali is an ambitious sim who accomplishes anything she puts ehr mind to, and that is why she wanted to be a teacher so she could instill that mindset in her student.
