In My Universe, 2 min film pitch.
This is the first Pitch I worked on initially with a different set of people from class before I had to make a decision to change groups for the Tea VS Coffee animation.
Life drawing - class work
(these projects had been done during Covid 19 Lockdown where we had to do life drawing online)

Fun little work I would love to share:
All done by watercolour, this was a nice way of showing consequence in a set of 3 drawings. Reminded me of why I am studying animation and that even something simple like this can tell a story, whether small or not. Also threw in there more hands because you can never practice drawing hands too much.
Drawings without looking at the paper:
Fun, right? In fact, probably my favourite concept in drawing. By staring at a naked person, a statue or a group of random people and drawing them without actually looking at the paper creates these really fun surprises.
Practicing the naked eye:
Some of this work is far from finished and far from realistic. Some I added shades, other I added Pastel, colour pencil, black pen (etc). What all of these drawings have in common is that they have all been done while looking at a live object. From there, my ideas might have flourished to something closer of further away from reality.
Hand exercises:
Here we have some hand exercises all done with a different ammount of time. Most class work was done by pencil but I added some of my personal work where decided to try to work with shading and pen.
Naked eye exercise:
A very quick drawing exercise consisting of different people with many poses to capture their shapes and to practice the naked eye.
More drawings:
In these drawings I opted for the idea of experimenting with more colour. Whether we added watercolour, a black pen or just simple grafite.
This one stood out to me due to its beauty and technique. It was done by purchasing a brown cardboard paper and slowly adding bleach with a brush (a brush that was non-existent by the time I had finished) and while looking at a picture on my phone. Quite happy with the result.
More drawings :
Some experimental work done with different ideas and materials. Watercolour, Pastel, collage and all with different concepts.
Tea vs Coffee [ FILM ]
Here is the finalised 2Min Film!
I would like to thank my colleagues for working with me on this project and for the hard work put in throughout the summer. There was a need to postpone summer to be able to finish this project and I can finally say I'm incredibly proud of the result of our effort.

TEA VS COFFEE [Backgrounds]
For the background I edited them together (with some before and after examples) to show the progress and detail in them. Painted over and detailed using TV Paint Pro.
