This blog is a place where I publish cool pictures of mopeds, I like stock mopeds, I like how they looked when they were new, or after they've been sitting in a barn, garage or shed for 40+ years. In the US mopeds were sold in great numbers over a relatively short time span, starting in early 70's oil crisis, peaking in about 1978, by the 1980's mopeds were history apart from a few stubborn brands which hadn't turned to 50cc scooter production which took advantage of the moped vehicle class. Inspite of this mopeds still have a strong and loyal following as collectable classics or customized with aftermarket parts lending new life to old.
