David Dastmalchian bts as Veb in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
I've been sort of fixated on David Dastmalchian recently because he's great but the one downside is it's kind of ruined one of my favorite horror stories for me
Because like imagine Veb, with his obsession with holes, finding out about Amigara Fault and going there to see if one of the holes is for him. But because he's made of goo, he doesn't even really need one. He could just slip inside the mountain and slide on through and instead of getting spaghettified like the humans, he can just recoagulate once he's reached the other side.
When he comes out, he's all excited like a little kid going down the slide at a playground, running back to the other side like "Again! Again!😃"
To be clear I'm not mad about this because this image is so adorable to me but I'll probably never be able to find that manga scary again
🎬 || David interviewed for CBR, talking about his novel Through, a bit of his work, and One Piece Live Action.
220 Wartburg 1000 Type 311 Deluxe (1966) FPY 4 D by Robert Knight Via Flickr: Wartburg 311 (1956-65) Engine 991cc S3 2 stroke Registration Number FPY 4 D (Yorkshire - West Riding) Wartburg Set www.flickr.com/photos/45676495@N05/albums/72157623738806757 The Wartburg 311 was a car produced by East German car manufacturer VEB Automobilwerk Eisenach from 1956 to 1965. The 311 model was manufactured in a number of variations, including pickup, sedan, limousine, coupe, and as a two-seater roadster. The engine was enlarged to 991cc in 1962. Powered by a 991cc 3 cylinder two stroke engine of 45bhp driving the front wheels and mated to a four speed gearbox The basic architecture of the pre-war design, acquired from Zwickau-based Auto Union, was retained, albeit with the chassis lengthened by 10 cm, which combined with long overhangs to create a larger car with a relatively spacious four-door sedan/saloon body. The use of a separate chassis facilitated the adaptation of the car to a range of differing body shapes. On the other hand, the use of a separate chassis with the frame rails running under the passenger compartment's floor at a time when elsewhere in Europe were increasingly standardizing on self-supporting car bodies, left the Wartburg approach looking increasingly dated, and also added to the car's height, bucking the trend of the fashionable low sleek look Exports of the Wartburg 311 to West Germany beginning in 1958, and by the early 1960s the car was exported to many other countries, including the United Kingdom and United States. In all, 737 right-hand-drive 311s were built from 1961 until 1964 Changing the mood a little note two of Lichfield Cathedral's three spires in the background.
