Blood splatter is wrong, she isnât splattered with it and a gunshot at that range, sheâd be plastered with his blood, as would the top of the wall since she shoots him high in the chest, but only the lower half of the wall gets a very concentrated coating. Also at that range, the muzzle blast would have caused him to jerk, rather than just kind turn sideways and fall down.Â
Keeghan was holding Athena in his arms, cradling his little girl close, lightly playing with her. She was fully of energy, it seemed, swatting at his finger playfully. Despite how fun it was, however, Athena wasn't content in just that. She looked up at him and hit his face, giggling wildly before hitting him again. Despite any objections, she giggled more and more, before with one hit, she made a noise. Not just any noise. "Da" She exclaimed. She made such syllables before when playing, "Da", "Ma", "Chu" and many others. But with another tap on his face, she repeated it, giggling once more, staring up at him with something that would likely be a signature look from her for years to come. And then she hit him again. This time in a rapid succession. With each hit, she repeated the syllable, but at such a tempo it did indeed sound like one word. Dada. And after her hand hit him that last time, it didn't leave his face, as if she understood what she was doing, and the very word she had just said.

This one used to be, but I lost my partners and really not so much the interest but the entertainment factor of it all. I do a lot of private Rping with @captain-of-the-imperium. But the community got toxic, died, never really came back.Â

Okay, let me address this. I personally have never seen any women discriminated against when wanting to play 40K. Granted I donât KNOW any women who want to play 40K, most of them are playing Pathfinder where me and my buddies play. However, if someone did want to learn, we would gladly teach them, no questions asked. So, let me restate that. I have no problem with women playing 40K. I think its an awesome idea, and it would really be cool to have some females players kicking my ass and enjoying the game. (Iâm not very good. XD)
Now, onto the Lore itself. Firstly, can GW please, please, please, PLEASE give us more female guardsmen models? Like seriously! I play Imperial Guard and ever since I learned about them in Space Marine, and Dawn of War I have been like:Â âCan I get some female models up in here? This is group effort.â God forbid we donât have some female commanders or strike leaders. I want some more female characters for my personal lore army. :)Â
As for the sisters, I do believe the heels are a bit much but everything else, goes with the lore. They are the âBrides of the Emperorâ they show off their feminine sides by being beautiful and kicking your ass while doing it. They WANT to look feminine because they are meant to show that their beauty means a lot to them. I mean HOT DAMN, if I was a guardsmen and so those women I would be like: âOh thank the Emperor theyâre here to save us.â Another part of the lore is that the Ecclisearchy only takes women, these sisters are the ELITE arm of the church. They are badass, xeno killing, heretic burning, people saving, women with guns. I love it and I wish we had plastic models of them.
On the topic of female Space Marines, I donât know where to stand. I donât think there SHOULD be female marines, but hey if you can make a LEGIT lore reason as to why they exist, then Iâm all for it. Just donât BS it to appease people. No no, give me a legitimate reason or reasons, as to why these female marines exist and I will smile and say:Â âAwesome, more marines!â
So, hereâs my biggest problem. I donât want females shoved in just for appeasement. Appeasement NEVER WORKS. I thoroughly agree there should be more female soldiers in the Imperium of Man. However, if you just shove them in for no good reason just to appease a bunch of unstable, unsatiable, uncontrollable, hive minded SJWâs. Then youâre pissing them off, and your 40K fanbase off. 40K players donât care about you âRuining their masculine dream worldâ for the God Emperorâs sake weâre NERDS PLAYING A TABLETOP game, I donât think we play it to feel empowered. No, we care about you fucking around with the Lore and giving us bullshit reasoning for it. Iâm still not over the Primaris Marines, but again, if you give me a GOOD reason as to why female marines exist, Iâll just smile and say thatâs awesome! Thatâs what most 40K fans want, a GOOD REASON. Not appeasement. Also, guys, or girls, if you play 40K and someone wants to learn, teach them the game. We donât discriminate, weâre better than that.

She listened to his explanation, a smirk disappearing at first only to return that brief moment later. âYou forgot to tell me that youâve been promoted? Now in charge of Military matters of a planet? Itâs . . Itâs quite a thing to miss, donât you think dear?â

Thatâs due in part to our time off together, but more so the fact that Iâve had to beat the useless PDF forces on that planet into something useful. They were only being issued two charge packs apiece because it was a saving. In the event of war, they would have to report to depots and be issued full combat loads⊠How stupid was the guy I am replacing⊠Along with like three other people in the sector.â He grunted and looked her over. âI also need a Naval Liason, to determine what is needed by the local Navy forces and you defensive space station. Only so it can be filed with the Munitorum and in case of emergency, apparently, I have the right to order troop movements as well as some other equally interesting things. The sector wasnât the most active, so it wasnât a shock to hear some commanders figured they could cut a few corners to line their pockets that little bit more. After all, it wasnât like the PDF would need it, right? Who would bother to attack an Armory World?
