Some people look forward to retirement so they can relax. My mom is not one of those people. As soon as retirement started, she got back to doing what she loves- sewing. And since having a grandson and two granddaughters, she's been busy. She has the CUTEST etsy shop set up and is adding new pieces weekly. Currently in the 3rd hour of sitting on Hwy 55 on the way to Boise. As if that isn't enough, Lela has been throwing up for the past 15 hours. What a weekend. (at Horseshoe Bend, Idaho)

In the late 2000s, I got my first taste of screenprinting when @sillykimmykittens and I threw a stencil down and made these ObamaHawk tees. We planned to do a full series of designs with icons wearing mohawks, but we're a couple of distracted stressed-out idiots so we forgot to actually finish the project. Around that same time (maybe even the same day) I had my first taste of 5 Hour Energy after drinking several beers and a can of Sparks, and I almost died. I'm glad I stuck with screenprinting and gave up drinking small bottles of liquid amphetamine.
