Upon arriving, she’d been determined to learn her way around.  Upon walking around while reading her pamphlet that was presented to her.  She admittedly was paying more attention to reading and checking through her new cell phone than what was going around her and bumped right into someone.  Whoops!

“Oh, dear.  Sorry about that! I’m new here!”

Rock’s mind was in the cloud - for once, not literally - with all the new information he’d learned in his time here. In particular, there was a huge amount of unfamiliar technology, and the bit of Dr. Light in him couldn’t help but be intrigued. Unfortunately, that meant that there wasn’t many bits of an attention span left to look ahead.

“No, it’s okay, I wasn’t looking where--! ...Huh?” Rush caught on much faster than him, and with an excited bark, he joyfully greeted the girl he’d been missing for a month. Deciding not to show his own relief through licks, he stammered on his words until eventually, one managed to escape:

“You!?”

     “It’s okay! I’m pretty good at dodging!” Much like how she dodged his concerns about her safety as she continued to flutter around him like a nosy butterfly. She looked like she wanted to touch the cannon but was hovering like an inch away from doing so. She didn’t like strangers touching Crescent Rose without permission so, of course, she’d have the same respect for others.

     “I sure am! I designed my own weapon myself and I just loooooove seeing all different types! Sometimes I feel like Crescent Rose is my best friend!”

“Dodging wasn’t the part I was worried about...” he muttered, sure that his concerns would fly right over her head. Sure enough, she was already off on another five trains of thought, and he almost wished that his processor had enough cores to catch up to them all. Even still, stopping herself from trying to touch the cannon didn’t go unnoticed, and it was definitely appreciated.

“Crescent Rose? It sounds like a Special Weapon!” In two very different senses, depending on who you ask. Still, the girl’s enthusiasm was proving to be infectious, and Rock couldn’t help his curiosity. “I don’t see any weapon on you, though. Does it turn into your hand like my Mega Buster does, or something?”

“I’ll... take that as a good sign?” Only Dr. Light had ever patted his head like that, but at least he waited until he took off the helmet first. If there was ever a time to find out if robots could look confused and happy at the same time, it was right now. “Does that mean we’re friends?”

Who knew that the secret to Quick Man’s speed was weapon fanatics? He could barely keep up with this girl! He’d only had the Buster out to keep up aiming practice, and she’d nearly gotten in the way in her rush of questions!

“Whoa! Please, be careful!” Just to be safe, he switched it back, the cannon splitting into segments to convert back to his hand. “Are you always so excited around weaponry?”

(He got the feeling that he already knew the answer.)

Robots in the Mega Man universe have the ability to eat as a luxury option! This is usually reserved for civilian robots, but Dr. Light includes it in all robots that he makes, as he wants them to feel as close to human as possible. This, of course, includes Rock, Roll, and Blues. "Digested” food usually doesn’t pose any benefits, however, unless they’re specialised foods like the E-Tanks.
