my friend just told me that there's a secret second dashboard that solely contains posts from people you've turned on post notifications for, and when i click the link in the messages it opens it within the tumblr app, so the tumblr app also has a secret second dashboard for post notification blogs, and the only way to access it is to open the link for it within the app.
i literally love tumblr
i have a private pinned post that just has a link to this dashboard on it, it's great. two dashboards for life
wow! i was really hoping someone would organically reverse-engineer this and find that dash.
here are a few other "secret" dashboards:
Posts from your "crushes"
"What you missed" (will be empty if you already visit Tumblr every day)
"Trending"
these are all just taking existing feeds of content and putting them in a dashboard-like format... the "Stuff for you" tab/feed is the same idea.
*quietly, from under 6 blankets* what the fuck
omg you do not understand how rare it is to see queer desi weddings this is beautiful
basically a lot of my problems boil down to me being really bad at waking up. and also really bad at going to sleep
Do we have a franz kafka diary entry for july 1st, i want to know what he thinks!!!
happy too tired July everyone
legit the rawest scene in the entire BBC Merlin series is and always will be the very first episode when Merlin looked Prince Arthur Pendragon of Camelot, flanked by no less than four muscled knights, in the goddamn eyes and said, “Ooh, got your daddy’s men to protect you?” Wtf. who taught him to be that savage.
@panharmonium I am loving your tags, I wish we had gotten more Merlin-Will content, set in Ealdor, pre-Camelot

Hi friends!
So my air conditioning is out and it costs $3000 to replace. I am still unemployed. My husband works but it will take him 3 weeks to make the amount we need.
We live in Texas and it is already 84°F inside my house at 1230 pm. I can deal with it but my 4 kids and 4 pets can't.
I'm not asking for donations or handouts. I have tons of crochet items ready to ship, mostly earrings and keychains.
I have one sunflower tote ready to go and another I'm finishing up right now.
Tumblr won't let me add any pictures to my posts, it's eaten this one 3 times already. I have some on my ig @/angelreydesigns or you can hit me up here or over on discord @/ ramblersletsgetramblin
I have over 60 pairs of earrings ready to ship and 20 keychains. I take custom orders and can get almost anything made within a day.
If y'all could just share this to get more visibility I would greatly appreciate it
What to do if you suddenly find yourself homeless
FOOD
Find your nearest food bank or mission, for food
grocery stores with free samples, bakeries + stores with day-old bread
different fast food outlets have cheaper food and will generally let you hang out for a while.
some dollar stores carry food like cans of beans or fruit
SHELTER
Sleeping at beaches during the day is a good way to avoid suspicion and harassment
sleep with your bag strapped to you, so someone can’t steal it
Some churches offer short term residence
Find your nearest homeless shelter
Look for places that are open to the public
A large dumpster near a wall can often be moved so that flipping up the lids creates an angled shelter to stay dry
HYGIENE
A membership to the YMCA is usually only 10$, which has a shower, and sometimes laundry machines and lockers.
Public libraries have bathrooms you can use
Dollar stores carry low-end soaps and deodorant etc.
Wet wipes are all purpose and a life saver
Local beaches, go for a quick swim
Some truck stops have showers you can pay for
Staying clean is the best way to prevent disease, and potentially get a job to get back on your feet
Pack 7 pairs of socks/undies, 2 outfits, and one hooded rain jacket
OTHER
first aid kit
sunscreen
a travel alarm clock or watch
mylar emergency blanket
a backpack is a must
downgrade your cellphone to a pay as you go with top-up cards
sleeping bag
travel kit of toothbrush, hair brush/comb, mirror
swiss army knife
can opener

Happy Pride
This Pride I hope that all of you never ever forget that no amount of sanitizing your sex life or sanding down of your LGBT edges will make bigots accept you. So, don’t debase yourself by capitulating an inch to them, especially in ways that throw your fellow community members under the bus.
Happy pride month to the “Not Arthur” scene
do not forget the patron saint of these weeks that we celebrate ourselves proudly and openly in the streets
her name was Marsha P Johnson, and we have her to thank for so much.
remember, the first Pride was a riot, and she was one of the brave souls who endured it to help carve the path which so many of us walk today. she helped found several activist groups regarding LGBT safety and wellbeing. and she was absolutely radiant, too.
thank you, Marsha. we remember you.
