Yes, The secret history is much deeper than blindly romanticising some random intelligent idiots, who drink, smoke and kill people, but I don't think I've ever ralated to a group of human beings as much as I relate to them (not every part of them tho...) and you can't take this away from me by saying "haha they were all horrible and everyone who romanticises them is so fucking stupid, we didn't read the same book haha". While I'm all for critical analysis, sometimes the urge to just lose your fucking mind is stronger than logical thinking and I'm embracing it.

TSH is a book that messes with your mind. That's what I love about it so much.
