here’s a digital version of the main four sibs ! when i put sunpaw through the customized i didn’t think her sibs would be so different looking than her. honestly i only somewhat regret it, but ya know. she’s still my cutie <3

meet our new main cast of characters <3

page 1. these sketches here were intended to be my testers for sun. how i wanted her to look and be shaped. i settled on a mix between all of them. just the parts i liked about each of these drafts.

page 2. “sunpaw.” “sunkit.” “- quiet, - observant.” “parents: jasminenose & riverleap.” this is the mc i designed for this run. she’s got some special snowflake vibes not even gonna lie, but i adore her terribly so regardless. she’s a bit nervous when it comes to speaking her mind, but she still seems to wear her heart clear as day in her actions. she's the second oldest of the bunch, though it's easy to mistake her for being the eldest. sun feels responsible for her siblings and makes great effort to make sure they're all taken care of. especially since her mother, riverleap, seems to keep her own distance from the kits.

page 3. “antlerpaw.” “- cowardly, -oddly resourceful, -gentle voice.” “i’m not fragile!” “parents: jasminenose & riverleap.” antler is sun's younger sister, the siblings were all born from the same litter but the antler is the second youngest. in comparison to sun, she is much much more shy. very reserved. and extremely clingy when it comes to her siblings. especially sun, who always was the one to stick up for her whenever the time called for it. she's a bit of a worry wort but she means well, and very much loves her family with all her heart.

page 4. "roarpaw." "-childish, - tracker instincts, - oddly resourceful." "parents: jasminenose & riverleap." "newest healer here! out of my way!" "allow me to heal you!" "[in unison] i'd rather die,,," the oldest of the sibs, roar has always had the biggest personality. i'm not sure if it was just up to the game, but roar was just the annoying older brother that every cast of sibs has. his bombastic attitude tends to get under sun's skin easily, and it tires both of the youngers out quickly. though despite all that, he yearns for praise from his parents. especially jasminenose , who he tried very much to "subtly" hint at his desire to apprentice under her. which she definitely got the message after his fifth visit in one day.

page 5. "shadepaw." "-strict," "-won't sit still." "parents: jasminenose & riverleap." "pardon?" "why does no one listen to me?" the youngest, the grumpiest, and the most straight forwards out of the four sibs. shade has been most known to distance himself from all the trouble the other three get into. even as a kit he's been eager to stick to rules, and has always taken it especially hard when one doesn't stick to them. shade's fascination with rules and structure makes him a great role model for other cats to aspire to, and though it does look that way on the surface shade's had a long history with deep set anxieties that he's never been able to shake. rules and structure just feel good, since it allows him the relief of feeling like he's got a point of reference of how to do well.

hey crew! it’s been a minute since i’ve posted. but i wanted to clear the air of what’s going on !

some time ago the file for morningclan was entirely lost. i’m not sure what happened for the crash to occur. but after the game had closed out i came back to it just being. well. gone. so in order to recover and slowly regain my appreciation for the game i took a step back and decided to came back when i felt more ready.

now, i have the lovely news of that i have returned!

not without content, i promise you. i loaded a new game on lifegen. and i am absolutely stoked to say that i am more in love with this new batch of kitties than ever before !

most of the artwork for these guys will be done through sketches as these are my leisure type characters and game progression. i will have little notes and entries for each page, as well as the occasional digital piece. my apologies to those who were sticking around for the prior cast, but thank you to those who stick around <333

i made the executive decision after i finished my draft that burntrose is in fact lightpaw’s mom <3

budwillow and cobaltsnout don’t have a great friendship, but they have been friends since they were younger. not a lot of cobaltsnout’s clanmates talk to her so down to earthlike, but budwillow always seems to be the right cat to bring the prickly molly back to ground when she’s done something wrong.
