“your spark is not your purpose”
"for me it is that ferocity, or that anger, or rage, and I can carry that with me. now it became 'how do I instill this into the rest of my guys, into the rest of my teammates.' using the darker emotions: the anger, or resentment, or frustrations and…sadness; and using that as a weapon. using that as a form of offense. it’s a scar, it’s pain, it’s a bad memory, and some people are probably afraid to tap into that side of them, but it’s such a powerful thing. once they own it themselves then the sky is the limit because they’re going to drive themselves and pull it from who they are and all of their life experiences and things that have motivated them. I just start driving them, needling them, pushing them. they had to embrace the villain nature that's in all of us. it gave them a platform to unleash." —Kobe “Bean” Byrant
the phrase “blood is thicker than water” leaves hidden the point that all liquids are able to be diluted.

I promised I’d try, and I am, but this world is becoming less desirable by the day.
call me unsuccessful. call me a failure. call me whatever it is you’d like. however, what you cannot call me is someone who has not challenged themselves to learn more about the world in hopes of leaving it in a better state than I personally experienced. the long-term gains of this planet, which includes the environment and all its inhabitants, are what matters most. my time here residing on what is coined Earth, along with everyone else’s, is a temporary privilege. we must experience its beauty, but not at the cost of its detriment. we must sustain its magnificence while also restoring what those before us, ignorantly or intently, took away from us.
the nostalgic may find solace in the past during these times, however, a paradoxical mixture of apathy and distress seems to have come to haunt those that live for the future.
communication comes in many forms. be aware and thankful for those in which are available to you.
take care of you.
a persistent presence is impossible, but moments of a timely presence is a specialty.
nothing is what it seems.
for better or for worse.

it’s times likes these I envisioned we’d reach our greatest heights.
when the flawless becomes flawed, that is when the truth is revealed—or at least its beginnings.
