work in progress but tldr: after four centuries, garrett has followed carlise to forks chasing after the rumors that seem to be growing surrounding the small town, and some other reason he cannot entirely explain, but if pushed - he simply replies that he wants to taste the other way of life & finally spend some time on the west coast. he's not a vegetarian, but he doesn't hate humans and finds them albeit a bit interesting at times. he's charming, a bit of a wild card in a good way, and attempts to maintain a decent moral compass.
