Cat Conversation by Who-Is-Chill
you often forget that some places exists only in memory, now. still, you suspect that memories predates the shape in some cases, and, in others, the place doesn’t exist, if at all. we speak of childhood homes, people who left us, and loss, always the burden of loss, that familiar room you lately often found yourself in, that dark forest which looms for miles, but in truth, we’re only speaking about ghosts, or try to speak of them, softly / softly / lest they will hear us / always softly / sometimes with weeping, but consider this. standing under the sky with an itch that burns in you, consumes you, tearing a hole in the very fabric of you. consider: a family dinner that never happens, the clock striking midnight somewhere, a kiss that never was, tender as a knife, or a gangrenous wound. consider again: the sky, a silhouette of wings, all the shapes of gods flittering through the half-lit landscapes of myths, of ages, of death and sweet decay. blind father god, thou had never known loss.

She is a little mess. A jigsaw with missing puzzles. A little rain with strong winds. A glimpse of sunlight from the moon. A chunk of heaven in hell. A smile of a child with candies. She is a little mess. A beautiful mess. And you will learn to love her. You will, I promise you.
