Anger simmered in the depths of those amethyst hues as she dared to ask him such a thing, as if he were some fool who didn’t understand what was going on around him. Lips pulled taut as he fought the urge to snarl at her like some beast, his hand tightening around the hilt of that twisted blade he carried. Ragnarok, a fitting name for a blade that would end the world. “I’ve thought long about the consequences of my actions, Warrior Goddess. And the consequences are richly deserved.” It was surprising that venom didn’t drip from his lips with the pure ire that roared in his voice, despite the even tone he spoke with.

She was not his charge, it was not his place to impose. “If that is your desire.” Simply stated. She didn’t require babysitting, from what he had seen. She could fight as well as others he could mention by name. Better, even. “Do you know where the tower is?” Taejin’s Tower was their agreed upon goal, though in this world it wasn’t the same as he had known it in his natural one. I swear, I will breathe life into Caius once more! I love my FFXIII muses, I do. But the tiny fandom makes it hard. But, I’ve learned a bit about how to survive a tiny fandom. And I want to make Caius work. I miss him too much.
