Digital drawing of a brass dragon over a flat evergreen color background. It is mid trot with relaxed, bat like wings. Roughly the size of a bear, the head is large and a bit flatter in dimension.
Floppy, pointed ears to the side of the head sit beside brass horns that have been worn short by filling down on stone. The eyes are wide set, but forward facing and are antique brass sort of hazel green.
The skin is metalic but not reflective. It's thick textured hide is oxidezed to tones of cyan in its face, inside of the joints, paws, under the tail, along the spine, and the spines of the wings. Between the spines of the wings the brassy skin is thinner and translucent.
The body shape is comparable to a leapord or other big cat. The neck and tail are a bit longer but the torso, shoulder, hips, wrist/ankles and paws all simmilar to the big cat, including retractable brass claws that are not visible. Limbs are a bit elongated closer to the anatomy of a bear, but more toned like the big cat.
The base of the wings are between the shoulders. When partly folded and relaxed the hinging joint sits just above the back of the skull and the tips a couple feet above the hips.

I wanna go absolutely feral fae mode. I'm talkin running up trees in torn clothing with my fangs bared. I wanna be both the protector of this land and the thing that is rumored to hunt the wicked in these woods.
I learned some time ago that my mother had a very hard time conceiving when trying to have me. Like over 2 years of trying everything from home remedies and old wives tales, to serious professional medical intervention. They had just about given up hope and planned to try IVF after my father's work trip.
Because the conference was a week long, and the company was actually decent, they allowed plenty of free time in the schedule and also paid for spouse travel and lodging.
They spent a bit over a week in New Orleans, and in that time my mother ended up bonding with an odd stranger in cafe over her troubles with pregnancy during one of my fathers work meetings. She has told me the strange lady was sympathetic and told her that everything was going to work out soon.
They went back home and prepared to follow up on the IVF. Of course, they require a pregnancy test before moving forward with the procedure, and there I was. No medicine, no remedies, no procedures.
And since then, I have felt like it makes more sense why I felt the way I do. Why I have these strong connections to the Otherside. Why I am naturally drawn to anything and everything fae. It is home.
I just had some...thoughts... about sticking animal heads on human shoulders. Bear with me.
I think the reason some anthros look really strange (I’m looking at you, Skyrim) is because animal skulls don’t attach to their spines the same way ours do. Our spines and skulls are very vertical, but many animals’ are closer to horizontal.
Some people solve this by giving the animal skulls a human skull shape on the back. But, to me it makes them look somehow bald(??) and just kinda weird in general. If, instead, you change their necks to curve so that the spine still connects where their four legged counterparts’ do, they no longer look yucky! (And also don’t need a hair-do!)
This seems especially applicable for animals like big cats, cows, and lizards — animals whose spines attach very horizontally to their heads.
Anyway, enjoy some more art I did while having these very specific thoughts.
They feel silly. They look horrible- do they even serve a purpose? Don't tell me its to protect my toe cause those bitches only make things worse when I stub them on drop something on my toes.
