To make things right,

Start by holding yourself high.

Take action in expressing

The true empathy time holds.

Keep writing till your brain has

Nothing left.

Time is of the essence.

And although my bones are in fragments,

My stomach curdles,

And I hold all of this sorrow in me,

I understand that my body and mind needs time.

But,

Time is of the essence

And although my body weighs me down

Like a rock thrown into the ocean,

Voices still repeat the same things;

Time is what you work around,

Time is everything.

Time is of the essence.

And although my bones are crumbled,

And my soul is darkened,

I will glue back the pieces as

Quickly as possible.

I will take every shattered raw bone I have left

And put myself back together.

I will paint my blackened heart red again

So it will blend in.
