Hey! I'm MossySparks!

My interests are wide and vast, mostly featuring Newsies, DBH, Archie Comics, DnD/BG3, Criminal Minds, Warrior Cats and The Glass Scientists(There's more but this is the main stuff)

Im an Artist and a writer!! I mostly post my art on here, I'm working on a few writing projects and I'll get those posted once I'm confident enough!!

I have a DnD au?? Very self indulgent story that features ocs and my own versions of characters I really love!! Maybe I'll post about it more sometimes.

here's a list of my ocs/canon based characters, and what they're from.

CBC in this means characters who are au versions of Canon media characters or characters from Canon media's who have been added for the sake of my brainrot. It's cringe but I am free.

Universes/Stories

(ASB)Ashbound: Ashbound is a dnd based world where with a cult on the rise the entire tiefling race is at the risk of extinction by a powerful demoness, a paladin and his Diety. Can a group of ragtag adventurers somr more willing than others stop the purge of their kind before its too late??

(THHG) The Heist of Hollow Gods: A side story set in the same universe of Ashbound, following two of my thieve based characters who are basically au versions of Leo and Linda Caruso from a way out. They're tieflings though cause I love tieflings.

(ASB:BHH) Ashbound: Between Heaven and Hunger: SEQUEL!!! introduces aasimars and succibi into the roster of characters for Ashbound

(PS&W) Path of Sun and Water: Another side story, cause I have too many. Based on the first Tiefling guards of Waterdeep/their parallel underwater society Deepwater!! Also set in the Ashbound universe.

All of these are... in the process of being written and HOPEFULLY published soon either on tumblr or AO3!!! For now, I got nothing though to feed you guys as I'm incredible nervous.

people love to see a character in a suit and go ''oh he would be such a tumblr sexyman back in the day" but i feel like we need to give tumblr sexyman more credit for their variety. never forget that sans undertale ruled so many fans hearts. thats literally a short fat(?) skeleton in shorts and slippers. you cannot pigeonhole the sexyman into just one genre of man. do not forget yourself.

if you’re a white creator and your brown/black characters are always sassy, reckless, aggressive or cold and your white characters are always soft, demure, shy and introverted you should think about maybe why you did that

sorry to hijack your post, but imo this also applies to colourism dynamics, even if you have a full cast of colour. like i can only confidently speak from the south asian context, but RAMPANT colourism in the community has given rise to and perpetuated these same stereotypes of people with darker skin being more aggressive and sexually promiscuous than the “reserved, civilised” light skins.

This applies to your wlw and mlm ships as well. If the lighter or white one is always sweeter, nicer, softer, more innocent, or more feminine and the darker or poc one is always meaner, louder, more aggressive, more sexual, or more masculine then you’ve got a problem sweetie and that’s racism.

Saw a buddy if mine say they'd rather smoke crack then watch love island I think that's entirely wrong. We shouldn't dismiss something just because it's popular and mainstream guys.

Bring back smoking crack, all you crack haters genuinely need to look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself if you've been avoiding it because its bad? Or avoiding it cause it's mainstream.
