Holt jekyll and jackson hyde hehe
One thing I wish Jackson and Holt’s storyline would’ve had (outside of wishing it existed for longer than one Volume and a movie) is leaning more into the idea of them being two halves if one person, instead of two different people.
Honestly the biggest drawback of their character was that they never actually interacted through video or notes, so the actual struggle they were going through felt kind of clumsy. Obviously I don’t mean the same person as in Holt being evil and Jackson being Good like the original Jekyll and Hyde, but more of a ‘Right brain Left brain’ kind of thing.
I wish more than anything they had been in the Freaky Fusion movie. Not only cause… duh. But the idea of them actually being split into two people, only to realise their lives are actually better with each other would’ve been such a satisfying arc for them. (In place of the whole time travel storyline, which definitely should’ve been its own movie).
Jackson is the strictly logical side, Holt is the impulsive side and they need each other to work properly.
Also the fact that the whole Hybrid thing was a metaphor for being mixed race, and Ghouls Rule was literally about Jackson and Holt not fitting into either of their cultures. Monster High really dropped the ball on that one.
Edit: while I have you I kind of wish they’d shown Jackson and Holt be able to hear each other when one’s fronting. Like Jackson’s in class and you just see a disembodied Holt whining about the teacher next to him, that only the audience can see

I say this all the time but I cannot stress enough how much jackson jekyll and holt hyde are just fight club without the fight club. look at holt hyde. look at him. they didn't even think that hard about it. jackson. jackson. jack. i am jacks smirking revenge. holt doesn't get off the hook either one of the first things you see in the movie is the credits sequence featuring holt mccallany. the red leather jacket. the markings on the right side of the face. the yin yang table. this shit is fight club. I will update this infographic every time I rewatch either media I think

The frankie one has been done for a while. I was originally gonna make Draculara's print, well like dracula, but i just couldn't find the energy to work on it. My friend gave me the idea of doing a twilight one and just had to.
Frankie/Jackson/Holt is easily the most compelling relationship and it’s not even close. Jackson and Frankie both being mad scientists. Frankie and Holt not having childhoods and seemly spawning into existence as teenagers and learning to deal with that. Jackson and Holt being seperate people. Frankie literally being separate people. We were on the verge of greatness.
