Ability: Mesmer
Grady can control 23 people at once, and even animals when he’s enhanced. Other species are affected by his mesmerizing. He can make anyone do anything, including making them forget it ever happened. So long as someone doesn’t have a broken mind, he has control over their abilities as he’s mesmerizing them (ie Brant).
Elvin Skills: Unknown
To my knowledge, we never see Grady use his skills in the series (correct me if i’m wrong). So his power level with them is currently undetermined.
Physical Strength: Mastery
Grady regularly works with incredibly strong animals. It’s been stated and seen that he wrestles with dinosaurs and corrals them. He does this quite often with many different species, as it’s his job. Due to this, he’s one of the strongest characters in the series.
Sophie Foster
Ability: Telepath, Inflictor, Polyglot, Teleporter, Enhancer
Sophie has the most talents of any elf who’s ever lived. She’s an incredibly gifted telepath, with an impenetrable mind and many tricks. She can transmit from long distances even under duress, she can track people to exact locations, and she can transmit to animals. She is powerful with her inflicting, including being able to inflict happy emotions. She could still inflict even while wearing the ability restrictor. While being a polyglot isn’t very applicable to battle, it allows her to communicate and understand any language. Sophie can teleport to places that aren’t confined by walls or forcefields. She can do this by dropping from something high or by running very fast. With her last ability, Sophie can boost anyone’s powers with a touch of her hand. She recently learned to switch her enhancing on and off, something enhancers aren’t typically known to do.
Elvin Skills: Talented
Sophie is talented in certain skills, while being somewhat lacking in others. She can regulate her body temperature and use outward channeling very well, but she struggles with appetite repression.
Physical Strength: Proficient
Sophie is shown to be slightly above average with her physical strength. Her greatest feat seems to be when she carried Keefe to Elwin after the battle of Loamnore.
